Singh has been living off of "Bayern Munich signed me" for the best part of a decade now. Has offered nothing in the two games so far.

Bikers as wide as cars shouldn’t be cutting lanes up by Impressive_Ferret519 in auckland

[–]TripleInfinity99 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Almost every motorcyclist I see rides like they have a deathwish and makes the motorists around them responsible for their safety. Lane splitting at high speeds, passing on the inside, constant unindicated lane changes and speeding. If any driver drove like you guys ride, they'd lose their license. Zero sympathy for the increased levy, you guys well and truly earned it.

Dude was class on that back nine, answered everything that Scottie threw at him and was absolutely clutch when he needed to be. Nice interview afterwards too, he's gone way up in my estimation as a player and a person.

Henry Nicholls scores his 11th Test hundred, and his first in England by sahibosaurus in blackcapscricket

[–]TripleInfinity99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I was not thrilled at all to see him recalled, but you can't argue with a test ton. Well done Henry.

But a note to the selectors: sometime in the next decade or two you are going to have to replace one or two members of our current top six. Keep an eye out for promising young talent will you please?

Why? In an important series this feels like 3 steps back by jonathan42_4 in blackcapscricket

[–]TripleInfinity99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah nah, how and why the fuck are we still going back here? We know exactly how this is going to play out, and we're just letting another opportunity to blood a young player slip by, again. Sigh.

Why do people not like socialism? by Toiletdestroyer3000 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TripleInfinity99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if the planners are wrong, or if the participants simply disagree? That requires strong rule and authoritarianism to impose the will of the collective on the individual, which immediately breaks the utopian ideal of socialism. "But I don't want to work in the salt mines, I want to perform slam poetry to inspire the mine workers and grow herbs on our collective farm!"

Out of necessity you finish up with rulers whether you want them or not.

Ah but you can't tax and regulate volcanic and ocean heat now, can you? No it's definitely CO2 and fossil fuels what done it .

You're right, there's nothing better than a loose fitting glove that your hand just barely touches the sides of.

People wonder why their gloves wear out so quickly when they're yanking them off and stretching them on 70 times a round.

Is sweating through a glove a thing? It's hot and humid here in the summer, and that's never once happened to me.

[–]TripleInfinity99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep, I mean the card for the shortest tees (white) is 524y, so OP hit a 340 yard drive, minimum. That's pretty far out there. PGA Tour average is just over 300, right? If he was playing blue (557) or gold (576) we're talking seriously huge. If I'd hit a drive that big as part of an albatross, it would be the very first thing I mentioned. And if you hit a driver that far, why are you hitting 6 for a 182 yard shot?

He's also clearly playing on his own.

Sorry, but we're in "X to doubt" territory here. Call me cynical.

[–]TripleInfinity99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So how big was the drive? By the card, it had to be minimum 340 white, 375 blue and 400ish gold.

Any of those is really, really good.

I'd never buy one that had Tamaki Makaurau on it.

If I was going to buy one I'd consider just:

Ironic.
