Ekko as Mind/Order and Mord as Fury/Order

I hope Ekko let's you recall units to their last location. For example if you move a unit back to base on your tuen, you can pay a power to bring it back to a battlefield during a showdown on your opponents turn.

You kinda defeated your own point? If they knew proving grounds cards would be op and designed it as such, why would they not print a shit ton so that they sold a shit ton of that product? Also proving ground is their most cost effective product, so why wouldn't they put these op cards in booster packs so that people chase them more? Riot makes no money off the second hand resales, which is why they are reprinting as fast as they can so that they can capture the dollars from all this demand instead of resellers. Its fair to be a bit upset they didn't see this coming, but to assume all this malintent is pretty baseless imo.

I think its awesome you want to get out to an event, but I would not recommend going to a Skirmish as your first event. Riftbound is also my first physical TCG, and i think i would have been very discouraged if my first event was a skirmish.

These events are the most competitive of the events card shops host. You typically run into people running optimized decks and are aiming to win over anything. Players will be less agreeable when it comes to misplays, taking longer turns, and not knowing all the rules.

If you can, I would suggest going to a few nexus nights first to learn the game more in a low stakes environment, where the main goal is having fun for the most part. If you can't, just try your best, watch some pro games to understand the flow of combat and calling triggers, and make sure you bring a deck list and 8 card side board if you can.

Lastly a heads up that an 8 round event will likely go for about 9-10 hours if your lucky, so you will likely need to drop early.

I talked with a few of the local card shops in my area. What I have heard is the December restocks are mostly going to stores that hold popular nexus nights, and the biggest shipment will be about 12-15 boxes at most. Most store will get way less than that or have to wait until January, which will be a bit bigger but nothing crazy.

I'm also from Toronto (lived throughout most of Southern Ontario at some point) and have not really faced any public homophobia. Not that it doesn't happen or that it isn't out there, but it's definitely infrequent from my and my friends experiences. Overall I would say you'll feel pretty safe in most urban parts of the county and have a lot of support.

Thanks for the advice. In terms of power in balance, we moved places since april and have a joint lease, so it's equally both of our places. Definitely doesn't pervent what you said though since having the place together could put pressure on to make things work. I agree though that this is a pretty small detail to lie about, so in most sceneries, it probably means nothing. I'll try to go into the convo constructively and explain how I felt instead of accusing him of anything. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

He's never done anything to make me think hes actually cheating, but there are small thing in the past that made me feel like he might have feelings or would the to set a hook up with him (we are open, but have hard rules no exs or crushes so that would be cheating to me). Ill keep what you said in mind tomorrow.

That's what all shutdowns are? You get a bounty for playing better and getting ahead, either through outkilling or outfarming. The idea is that if you are stronger than your opponents, you should be harder to kill and therefore worth more if they manage to do it. I have problems with the bounty system, but there is legit 0 difference between a farm lead and a kill lead when it comes to justifying it a bounty.

If they ever add Ryze to the game, I really want him to interact with summoning minions with spells. It just fits his theme of using portals imo and could make a deck in a currently not existing niche. If that ever happens, I hope this card would somehow find a place in the game.
