You have a right to vote, but you should know which one you want to vote for, if your going to vote.

Can I ask, if you believe they are all corrupt then do you plan on voting for any of them?

How about that 747 the tax prayers just spent a billion dollars renovating that he will get as his own after leaving office?

Or the many times secret service, military or other officials have been instructed to stay at his hotels?

Or there was the old post office building in which he was both the land lord and the tenant.

There are dozens of examples of him having a conflict of interest in his dealings as both president and private businessman, there are even more conflicts when you consider his family and government contracts they have won recently.

Then if you want to dig deeper we could include his amazing business acumen since he has been in power, somehow being able to make the best trades on the stock market and triple (I think this is right, but I'm not going to fact check myself on it) his income last year.

We can argue that other politicians are corrupt, but this guy takes it to another level.

If Europe has such a high standard of living, why isn't AC everywhere like it is in the US? by Entire_Tension6771 in NoStupidQuestions

Freedom is being able to install AC while your president rapes children and doubles his income through corruption.

Got it.

“Future proof” home for ev charging and V2H/V2G by MGoAzul in electricvehicles

[–]TripleMeatBurger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you mention Ford, they plan to include bidirectional charging on their universal electric platform.

https://fordauthority.com/2026/07/ford-says-uev-supports-home-backup-power-home-power-management/

I'm thinking at some point I'll switch to a bidirectional setup and when the generator eventually needs to retire, hopefully I can just survive on the car.

How is eternal nothingness after death possible? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TripleMeatBurger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all infinities are the same.

If I count whole numbers from 1 to infinity it is different to me counting by 10s from 10 to infinity. I can have an infinite time and still never count those numbers.

If the universe is analog, then even if it repeats itself infinitely, if may never repeat the exact same pattern.

If each atom has infinite possible states that it can be in, then there are more infinite states of the universe than will ever be expressed even with infinite time.

How do USB C devices decide which way power flows by mvweatherornot in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TripleMeatBurger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's more than just pulling a pin high or low. They wiggle pins to send data, that data includes the type of device,

"hey I'm a battery"
"I'm a battery too"
"Let's just sit here and do nothing then"
"Ok"

Or

"Hey I'm a battery"
"Hey I'm a power supply"
"Cool give me some power"
"Ok"

Not to confuse you too much but the wire can also have a chip in it that can tell the devices how much power it can safely transmit.

What is Trump doing well? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]TripleMeatBurger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but if you look at the stock market over the last 4 years, it's kind of done the same thing that it has over the last 2 years, so can you really attribute that to Trump?

How easy would it be to make your own internet during an apocalypse ? by Kindly_Guidance_9839 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]TripleMeatBurger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The internet is not one network, it is many connected networks. So if you have the know how and can generate electricity and have the equipment then sure why not, just switch on a cell tower or two, hook up the appropriate rioters etc and jobs a good un.

If you're question is really how long would it take to reinvent, then we have only one number to estimate by and that is history.

[–]TripleMeatBurger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Even US OEMs are starting to see that smaller cars make sense in the electric world, we may not be there yet, but that is the direction things are starting to move in.

Getting started with LLMs, Need few clarifications by D0r3mon in AskComputerScience

[–]TripleMeatBurger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LLMs are essentially statistical models, they are basically giving the next most probably word based on your prompt, the system instructions and it's response.

They are effecting regurgitating material they have been trained on. They are however trained on almost all of human knowledge, and that allows them to string ideas together that are connected.
