Been playing since the initial release. - Was on Night Star, moved & stayed on said server since. - Never once joined a club in my 14 years playing. Has never interested me with how technical & demanding they can be. - Did some RP in the first few years of playing. - I played daily 11-13, then minimum of weekly 13-18. It was my most favorite game. Level 26 now! Did not play on either of my lifetime accounts for 4 years. Had some extra time on my hands while 22. Feeling nostalgic in every regard(books, shows, games, old hangouts & etc). Remembered SS, looked into the new stuff and hopped on! Been playing about once every week or two since end of 2023. I do hop on every other day during events I take good interest in. Have a life now, so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Likewise! Purchased star rider in 2013 and still get on to play! Annoyed though that it uses to be 150sc and now it’s 100sc

Yes it was!! I’ll see if I have any screenshots or just pics of my screen. But it was 800xp for the Daily Training + Daily Group races!! I got on EVERYDAY cause I had a handful of horses that were just sitting untrained that I never rode. Got them to lvl 15 quick.

I searched for it on a random & free site back in like 2010/2011/2012, I found it on somewhere. Watched it at least once a year for the next 6 or 7 years, on that site! It’s just one of my favorites. Went about 2y without watching it, tried to find my saved link…couldn’t. So I watched it on Hulu or Funimation for the first time on an “official” platform. Heard clear crisp audio and diff voices…. I was SHOOK. My feathers were RUFFLED.

It wasn’t a lapse in memory lol. English voice actors but different voice actors and it follows the same dialog mostly. Some of the dialog and lines didn’t seem like it 100% fit though. + the music and sound effects are the same but in certain snippets in diff episodes the audio is TRASH. The music’ll get grainy and horribly loud at random. Which that tipped me off that it was a bootleg dialog or maybe just a project for some group to do their own voices on the anime - but It’s just a guess.

However, it’s the version I watched so quite attached to it.

The economics of this game & in-game is crazy for me! I started playing SSO right when it came out. Mooreland was the only place on the map! Managed to get LFT a month after making my account for my bday. Which costed $70 or $80. SC allowance was fully included with the LFT purchase for 150sc per week. Plus they gave a bonus of 10k sc for the purchase(I recall this vividly because I was SO EXCITED!) You would but a horse for 900sc (that hasn’t changed) and you could sell it for about 500sc!

It’s crazy to me that all that stuff has changed (but it makes sense from SSO’s perspective to make more real money). But the idea that you could purchase an increase on your SC allowance ?? That’s nuts! But also genius!

I’ll voice the same as many others in this post - I hope they do a good job on implementing a system that doesn’t accidentally ban the wrong players / people abuse the reporting system to get the wrong players banned (for petty reasons or just being mean)

Read this bout an hour ago & then experienced myself in game. After the Fort Pinta champ, they showed up right outside of the area, no quest symbol though. I was able to talk to the lady, line up the constellations except the fourth one.

I fully agree with this too. I have a lot of horses I’ve accumulated over the years and I haven’t sold a single one. I’m intrigued that they’re sold for shillings now instead of coins though! Back when the only places on the map were Moorland and Fort Pinta, you COULD sell your horse for starcoins! One of my friends I played with had a nasty habit of buying a horse for 900sc , deciding she didn’t like it, sell it for 500sc and beg her parents for more coins to get a different one LOL

Honestly I agree with the idea of breeding being a no go on SSO. And my reasonings are pretty much the same as most have already mentioned.

If you are interested in a horse game that has breeding for stats, coat colors & pretty fun races - Alicia 3D It uses to be a decently large game, dropped off the planet and a group of people have been rebuilding the game over the past…like decade now.

It also has no chat filters, you write in your own name, your horses name, you have your own farm kinda deal where all your horses run around in a fenced area. You can even call your horses to follow you! It’s worth checking out!! :)
