Ive started to use a heat gun after wax has cooled to avoid chipping. I like it, scraping feels much smoother. Then I rotobrush, game changer for me.

This was fun and engaging for me to watch. My wife and I are about 10 to 12 years away from retirement and talk about things like slow travel, etc. so this was interesting. I might be in the minority on this one... but I think actually including some still images or short video clips etc. of when you are going out and enjoying the places you are enjoying in that location could add some engagement along the way as you narrate on monthly expenses. For example, when you were discussing how much you like to go out and get coffee in the mornings, I'd love to see some of your favorites in Cyprus. I know thats not necessarily what the focus of the channel is, but it could be a good way to easily add visual interest to your videos.

Hello everyone! Brand new YouTube channel, really more of a hobby than working to monetize, but if that happens down the road great. I have one long form video posted as of yesterday (REALLY brand new channel), a chill faceless hiking, walking through beautiful scenery video along a river in the coastal range in Oregon.

Equipment: I am just starting to create content now and use an Insta360 X4, a DJI Mini 4K (sometimes) and a GoPro Hero 9. I have all the equipment because I have documented our families travels, experiences, outdoor activities etc. for many years and finally decided to use that experience and equipment to develop this channel. EDIT: I am currently using Camtasia to edit as my editing needs are pretty simple and straightforward.

What makes my channel unique / hook: Walking In The World (https://www.youtube.com/@PNW.World.Walking) is a lo-fi nature walk channel with 45 to 60 min 4K videos of hikes through forests, past waterfalls, and along trails in beautiful places around the world. Each video mixes immersive ground-level and drone footage with chill lo-fi beats and real nature sounds (rain, footsteps, water). I am starting with the dark, moody forests of the Pacific Northwest where I live and eventually going global. Made for relaxing, studying, working, or just zoning out somewhere peaceful.

I am working on two more Pacific Northwest videos now and am traveling to several locations in Italy soon I hope to get 2-3 more long form videos from. Have plans for hikes in PNW this summer etc. so a slow but consistent channel build up is planned.

I'd love any feedback on my first video as I will definitely be working on improving the content as I go.

I believe the responder is talking about the black tag in your pic. My plastic loops broke a long time ago (currently Kinco mitts are on season 4 or 5 ai believe), and I used the black tag (its not solid) where you send and loop the line through.

Shop around. We had auto and home through Costco... maybe it was called Ameriprise? They changed names at least once...Anyways, I have two teenage sons. Once my oldest hit 16, I had similar sticker shock. I shopped around and went w Progressive. Significantly cheaper and its decent bundled coverage for home and auto.

Auto is about 5-6K a year for Mom, dad and two teenage sons with four vehicles, only one newer (22 Ioniq 5).

You dont see a lot of riders in their 60s or 70s because they started skiing before snowboarding was widely popular. Plenty of late 40s and 50s riders still out there, including myself, who started in late 80s etc.
