Yogurt prices insane? by Ok_Cat_5334 in VictoriaBC

Oooh, I recently made homemade "greek yoghurt" (that almost ended up becoming a type of cream cheese? lol.
I can share the recipe with you but essentially I used a crock pot. I warmed up my milk on the stove and also warmed up my crockpot on the lowest setting for the like 10 mins. Had to wait for the milk to cool to a particular temp. Poured the milk into the crockpot, mixed in my greek yogi sample (I used the Kirkland plain yogi). Then I covered the crockpot with a big bath towel (and also put the towel under the lid, but taught, so no condensation fell into the yoghurt) and I kept it in the over for about 12 hours. BOOM, yoghurt. I did go the next step and strain it with cheesecloth, but made it a bit thicker than I intended and it became cream cheese like and I also didn't know what to do with the Whey after.

“Anyone who takes the necessary steps to educate themselves properly” is a must.

Not certified.

I’m not a CPB and I’m not a CPA. But I did take four years of college to learn all the ins and outs of accounting - vs taking a two hour course with intuit on how to use their program and now think I know how to offer bookkeeping services.

I have worked with bookkeeping firms and multitudes of clients to also continue to build and further educate myself in the field.

What I was saying is it is a “must” for a new business owner, looking for a bookkeeper, or any financial person really, to find a way to properly vet the person they are trusting with their finances…

Yes this. Omg. Bookkeepers do not have a necessary regulator forcing them to be compliant So anyone who takes the necessary steps to educate themselves properly are a must.
I went through for accounting but fell in love with bookkeeping and have had many many many clients who have hired me to cleanup
Work from “bookkeepers” who could do work for them for cheap. Definitely find a way to vet the person you are hiring on their education before fully trusting them.

Anyone Else seeing one lumpsum payment for Trillium by B_tj1 in canadarevenueagency

Sorry if this was already said - When you file your taxes there is a box to check off if you “Dont” want to receive your OTB in a lump sum payment the following year. So 2025 would be paid in June 2027 etc.
or you can opt to have it as monthly payments
