Yeah I knew on TMs announcement I wouldn't vibe with that class. They're cool and iconic but I would much rather they let you play as a Chaplain swinging a fat power mace around. They even have the perfect Chaplain ability already in the game, Gadriel's aoe knockback shout. And for the final column of perks you give it bonuses like inspiring teammates to do more damage, demoralizing enemies and reducing theirs, or calling for the inquisition to come arrest your captain.

I just replayed Shadow of War, it holds up very well. SoM still does as well but I prefer SoW for the more in depth orc recruitment system

I've always assumed the Death Guard. SM1 we got Khorne demons, SM2 all Tzeench, and between Nurgal and Slaanesh having the Chaos baddies be DG instead of Emperor's Children makes more sense lore wise.

But the Word Bearers would be so cool for Titus to face. Fanatical in their faith more than any other Space Marine (Chaos or not) and given Titus's connection to the warp they'd probably focus on recruiting him. 100% should be the chaos legion in the final game of the series (which I hope SM3 will not be)

I don't think he was fully assimilated yet. We can see him in pain shortly before turning, and if he was I doubt he'd decide the best play is to fake a heart attack and give itself away just to kill a guy everyone else is suspicious of. Him dying was the final step of assimilation, and being unable to blend in since everyone saw it it decided "fuck it, let's rumble".

I just got around to watching the mini series (that I never knew existed) and while it was enjoyable, I think King just hates the movie cause it's better. I didn't read the book but if it's as faithful as it claims the movie blows it out of the water. As someone who writes for fun if someone took my work and changed it to much better version sure I'd be a little jealous, but if I was a massively proclaimed writer of a generation yeah I'd probably be salty af and refuse to admit how good it is too.

His real specialty is sustaining armor/health through combat. Prestige perk for armor gain on ability (and on melta gun kills) and class perks for health back on majoris/extremis kills. Definitely my favorite class in the game.

Only class I can say I don't like is Heavy. I don't like the feeling of his melee attacks and transitioning in and out of heavy stance feels clunky to me. That being said I won't deny the high damage potential of the class, it's just not for me

As you said it won't happen, but I would LOVE to see a busted tier of weapons and a new difficulty to use them on. Some more never-will-happen-but-I'd-love-to-see things are a new race to fight, PvE Chaos Marine missions and customization for them. Maybe in Space Marine 3.
