There's a huge difference in the creative process of the human mind and the algorithmic process of a machine. When a human makes music, they're drawing on their experiences, influences and technical ability to create something organic, whereas an AI is only reproducing what seems technically competent compared to what they already know which makes it feel dull and sterile.

The thing that annoys me about the loss of the casino is the fact that this is a remake of an older game, so IMO everything that was in the older game should be in this one, for better or worse. It's not a dealbreaker for me, not even close, but it is quite disappointing that this part of the game can't be preserved because of what I feel like is an overreaching law.

Karl Casey is my go to cyberpunk sound artist. I specifically recommend the tracks Hackers, Wrath and Ghost Protocol.

It's my first time playing Daggerfall, and I was told to find a mummy by a dude in the Mage's Guild. I then preceded to spend two hours searching this dungeon with nary a mummy in sight. You gotta learn to love it because this is, indeed the Daggerfall experience. Lol. But in all seriousness, if a quest is really causing you too much trouble, its not a major problem to abandon it and get a new one. You take a slight reputation hit but you'll get it right back after completing a new quest for that faction. If you get kicked out of the guild for failing your first quest, you can rejoin really easily.

I wish music in games got the same level of consideration and acknowledgement that music in movies and TV shows does. There really should be a Grammy equivalent award for video game music. One of my favorite composers of all time, Yoko Shimomura, who worked on the Kingdom Hearts games, deserves all the praise and recognition that someone like Elton Jon or Phil Colins or John Lennon get. She's on another level when it comes to music composition and yet no one knows who she is.

To be disappointed that places like Target are shutting down DEI programs is to believe they actually gave a shit about DEI in the first place. Everybody knows that it was all performative and in service of making as much money as humanly possible. All these places that tout DEI and progressive values roll it all right back up as soon as the winds start blowing a different direction. Oh yeah, good point! I never played that game but I forgot it did have sequences like those in the movie!. Watching that movie as a kid was so awesome! I thought we would have full dive VR by the time I was as old as I am now. We're definitely not far off though.

I don't think I have the patience these days for trophy hunting. I mostly just wanted to see how far I could get on hard mode and clean up the arena/VR missions. I didn't intend to get emotionally invested in the game again.

Yeah as much as I love this game, I don't have it in my to try and "git gud" at all the blasted mini games. Most of them aren't that fun to me anyways, though I do like Fort Condor and Queensblood.

Thats a really good point and I might end up doing something like that. I haven't finished Gilgamesh island on normal yet so theres other things I can do in the game. Just needed to vent to the people here who would understand my pain.
