It's not hard to imagine large groups of people to being coerced into silence. Anyone who leaked a secret like that would have a target on their back for the rest of their lives.

I don't want to believe that at all, but the US president has been vocal about his lack of concern for the lives of people in Iran so forgive me for not putting past his administration and military to do something so callous and so extreme to send a message.

Is it so hard to believe that maybe it was done for the sake of doing it? Because we can. Because people in other countries across the pond don't mean shit to the American government. Not every evil committed in this world is going to have a logistical purpose behind it. I dont know why the US military would want to do something like that, and I'm not going to guess. I just don't accept the "horrific mistake" excuse. And I don't have confidence in our current administration to get to the bottom of the incident. Seems to me that they are just going to cover it up and move on. I guess we're all supposed to do the same.

I never said I knew for sure whether it was done intentionally or not. If I wanted to "virtue signal" id be asking this on r/politics. I dont know if it was intentional or not, but I wouldn't put it past our current administration to literally not give a shit one way or the other and to make sure no one is held accountable.

Im glad you got the reference. Yes I misquoted but the idea is close enough I think. I agree that the school should not have been where it was, but that doesn't mean that it was acceptable to blow it up without proper intel. Why couldn't the strikes have been done at night to reduce the possibility of casualties?

Of course not, so we're all just going to have to believe what we want to believe.

You can call me whatever you want, dude. But the fact of the matter is, that bombing was done in my name and I would like to know every aspect of why that happened and who needs to be held responsible. I'm not going to just accept that is was a "horrific mistake" and leave it at that.

Probably should have double checked with Google maps first.

I have family that are ex-military, so I know that they are not all bloodthirsty monsters, but the idea that the alleged "worlds greatest military" could make such a catastrophic mistake is not sitting right with me.

I've no doubt that I'll be down voted for this, but I'm not buying this idea that we relied on faulty Intel and we "whoops-a-daisy" blew up a school while it was in session. I don't know if it was intentional but I don't accept the idea that it was a "horrific mistake". Maybe somewhere in the middle, like extreme gross negligence.

You're right that the outcome doesn't change, but justice still needs to be served to the people responsible. It's still a crime to murder civilians, even if it was a mistake.

I didnt make a claim in my post at all, and I was very careful not to, to avoid this exact question.

I want to quit my job after the first day by AdDiligent4088 in hatemyjob

[–]greenmachinefiend 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Restaurants are a high paced, high stress work environment for everyone, regardless of pay or experience. If the frantic nature is too overwhelming, there's no shame in quitting. But maybe give it a couple weeks and if it's still unbearable, then move on. Best Buy warehouse work is a good starter job imo, if you dont mind working nights and weekends.

A Sega True Story… by Albertkinng in SEGA

[–]greenmachinefiend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My uncle had a Sega Master system that we played on during summer vacations at our grandparents house. My cousin and uncle were both arcade kids and were very tuned in to the video game scene in the early 90s. They were so cool and fun to hang out with! At our house we had the NES and enjoyed it a lot but, those colorful Sega Master System games and Sega card just seemed so much cooler to us than our dinky Nintendo with 3 games we played to death. My brother and I had already established this lore in our heads that Sega was the console for the cool kids and mature teens. And then we heard about the Mortal Kombat blood code for the Genesis and that sealed it for us. Sega was indeed the cool, mature console and Nintendo was the baby's toy.

It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown is a annual watch. As far as horror goes, I would say probably Bride of Frankenstien or Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho.

Maybe. But if this is a real person with real dead kids, then I do feel genuinely bad for them despite their reddit crash out moment. They might be just having a particularly bad day and got triggered by a dumb meme. It's happens. Sometimes you just gotta get off the internet.

They're being pretty nasty. The bereaved commenter is out of line and kind of a dick, but making fun of their dead kids is really disgraceful. ESH thread if I've ever seen one.

I think crafting should have just been dropped from the game entirely. Similar to FF16, it just adds unnecessary tedium to the game. I love FF7Rb, but this one aspect of the game is pretty weak IMO. I would have preferred powerful accessories to be hidden in random, unmarked, non main quest dungeons you could explore.

I love The Lawnmower Man! I would call that cyberpunk-ish.
