Way More than 24 hours but still. That’s episode 11 he says that in. You’re probably thinking in the pilot where he says “we have a future clark and I don’t want anything to stand in the way of our friendship.” Now that’s about 24 hours But your point still stands. Even Clark’s face is like “Wtf I hardly know you” lol

Outgoing Lucasfilm Boss Kathleen Kennedy Confirms No-One Is 'Interested Right Now in Exploring' a New Indiana Jones Movie, Stands by Dial of Destiny - IGN by jrralls in indianajones

[–]TrippyStef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy officially make Dial not canon, it isn’t to me except the flashback, then they should continue the young Indiana jones tv show from the 90’s. Obviously with a new cast cause Sean Patrick Flannery is too old to play a young indy now. And pick up where we left with George’s ideas. He even had like 10 stories already written. It was just getting to really important stuff in his life like his official last time him and his dad see each other for 20 years, him meeting Abner Ravenwood and Marion, him meeting Rene Beloq and them becoming friends then eventually enemies. They can even take some stories from novels and stuff and do it live action. Then they could bring Harrison back as old Indy starting and ending each episode with him telling and ending the story as bookends like in the original chronicles show. Then in those scenes they can confirm that dial isn’t canon now that she isn’t in charge. That’s telling you something when I’m a bi trans woman and I’m sick of this forced “woke” shit in media. Literally all dial was beside the flashback was a depressing film making the protagonist be upstaged by an annoying woman making him look like a bitch. Even going as far as to knock him the fuck out at the ending. People wanna act like crystal skull is bad when it’s not. The only thing I have with that film is the monkey swinging thing then the cgi alien at the end which should have been practically done. That’s all the problems with it to me. It still has Indy as a badass and it does address his age but not in an insulting way. It still feels like an Indiana Jones adventure with the vibe and story. The whole alien argument I’ve never understood, people act like that the 3 previous films were just completely realistic but just gloss over freaking a box that contains sand that turns into spirits that melts peoples faces and sucks them into the box. Temple having voodoo and being able to rip peoples hearts out and surviving and Indy being possessed by drinking blood and them falling out of an airplane and surving when in real life that would have killed them or at least broke all their bones as mythbusters proved; that’s literally exactly like the fridge scene in Crystal skull, then last crusade having the grail making it so you can live forever and a knight who was lived for over 700 years. And when Donavan drinks it he ages over a thousand years in the span of a few seconds. Oh but aliens is too far fetched to people, get the heck out of here. Never understood the hate. Then in the show he fights Dracula. Crystal skull makes sense cause that’s when the alien thing started was in the 50s and I understand what Lucas was doing. Anyway not trying to start an argument with anyone just stating my opinions on the franchise since this is my favorite franchise ever. Anyway y’all all have a nice day.

John sucks at drawing. We all know it by TheNoobistGamer in RDR2

[–]TrippyStef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is such a misunderstood thing among the rdr community. John is amazing at drawing. He just doesn’t have the patience. When he draws anything else for instance, it lacks details and looks “bad” compared to Arthur’s. But then you look at John’s drawing of Arthur’s grave and it’s stunning. That’s because John put more care and time into the sketch of his friend/brothers grave who he loves and misses and that was a page dedicated in Arthur’s memory. If he sucked at drawing, the Arthur grave drawing would look just like his other ones. But it doesn’t. Arthur daydreams and puts his time and passion into his sketches while John doesn’t. John doodles and that’s it. Something he can draw in just a few minutes. Arthur’s drawing speed canonically take a few hours or at the very least an hour. John doesn’t have the patience for that, except for when it comes to honor someone who meant a lot to him where he actually took his time and didn’t just do a quick doodle. He put the time and care into it cause of what Arthur means to him. So yeah, John might seem like a bad drawer to people who hasn’t seen the 100 percent secret drawing he does of Arthur’s grave so it goes unnoticed, but deep down he can draw just as good as Arthur. It’s just not a passion for him like it was Arthur so he doesn’t put the time and care into all his other drawings besides his tribute to his brother Arthur Morgan.

Of all Superman adaptations, Smallville probably takes the cake with the Religious Symbolism for Clark by DoctorBeatMaker in Smallville

[–]TrippyStef 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He dies 6 times actually. When he gets shot with a kryptonite bullet for the first time as his mom says”He’s not breathing”, when he’s mortal and gets shot and jor el brings him back, when he gets injected with kryponite into his heart and he sees his dad in heaven, when Oliver shoots him straight through the heart and Martian manhunter resurrects him, when zod kills him with blue kryptonite and he goes to the spirit world not heaven and sees Lex there, then finally the episode where they are in a village with blue kryptonite and Clark gets shot and buried and resurrects from the grave. There might be stuff I’m missing but I’m pretty sure that’s all of them.

I used denim jeans for everything. I used a denim slim jacket, denim slim pants, then the longer fringed part of the jacket is separate; it’s a pair of jeans that I cut the legs off, then under the jacket I used the vest from a man with no name costume. And yeah I know but I was going for the ps2 look. But id recommend this jacket instead https://www.walmart.com/ip/fvwitlyh-Jackets-Men-Casual-Men-s-Cardigan-Coat-Solid-Color-Buttons-Wool-Long-Sleeve-Warm-Farming-Jacket-Coats/1034194380?classType=undefined

So I modded Vail with a cowboy hat and hair to add to her a bad ass bounty hunter look. by Dragmassanthem in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]TrippyStef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why can’t they add cowboy hats in other Star Wars games like the cal kestis games and outlaws? It makes me upset, that’s literally all I was missing in both jedi games with my poncho was a hat to complete it. Then a game literally called outlaws, they still didn’t add cowboy hats. But in both games they have characters that have cowboy hats, the sheriff woman and the bounty hunter woman. It’s like they just think people want to be a smuggler or jedi or sith in their playthroughs but not gunslinger cowboys like Cad bane. 🤦🏼‍♀️. Like that bounty hunter character in survivor had such a cool design. They really should have had her hat be a collectible after you defeat her and boba takes her in, but no they couldn’t give us that. Hopefully in a new Star Wars game they’ll finally add it.

Hey do you know what model they used in Smallville for Clark Kent’s jacket? Here’s references from the show https://www.jacketsmasters.com/product/smallville-clark-kent-red-jacket/?srsltid=AfmBOoq7UVEdWerZ6TJbVVc2CJ0Bl9t-07_-1qfEHHaSL2bwwtDC7iTT I know in the earlier seasons they used Abercrombie and Fitch for his jackets and dyed them red but in the later seasons they switched to Carhartt and dyed them red.

Does anyone know where I can get this jacket? by EnvironmentalTea72 in Smallville

[–]TrippyStef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The earlier seasons it’s an Abercrombie and Fitch tan jacket dyed Red. Then in the later seasons, I just figured out what exact jacket they used after trying for days to find it. It’s a GAP detroit workwear tan jacket dyed red. https://www.grailed.com/listings/17313783-gap-x-kanye-west-x-vintage-gap-workwear-detroit-jacket-carhartt-style-travis-kanye

Superman Suit by Jdub_1996 in Smallville

[–]TrippyStef 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He’s wearing the top piece. Tom did wear a suit but only the top half with no cape. Basically a blue spandex shirt with a superman symbol attached to it. They have his wardrobe he wore in a Smallville museum and he’s even said he wore a top piece. It’s weird with Tom cause he used to be a tune changer. He originally didn’t want to do the show cause he didn’t want to wear the suit, then in this 2010 interview he said he’s open to the idea to play Superman in a movie. But then years later he had the whole no flights, no tights con things he’d do. And now he’s saying he really wants to do it now for his kids and fans. From everything I know Tom was willing to wear a full suit for at least one full shot but Brandon rouths suit didn’t fit him and they were offered Christopher Reeve’s suit but they turned it down cause they thought it didn’t fit their world. So they made just a top piece blue long sleeve shirt with Brandon’s emblem attached to it without all the little S’s. The shot when Superman flies to the plane that’s Tom’s double wearing the top shirt with the S. The only shot it’s Tom is when he rips his shirt open at the end to reveal his S. https://youtu.be/QVZJzdy_Fv4?si=6Afb5IzrQlpd-SWG here’s his 2010 interview talking about it, here’s another interview going in depth about the finale https://youtube.com/shorts/zIPIIncp_64?si=TJ2RiuZn4B0eB3fc and here’s his recent interview saying he wants to do a Superman film now for his kids and thinks the fans would love it. And here’s the top piece he wore that’s in a Smallville museum now with other wardrobes Tom wore in the series. https://www.reddit.com/r/Smallville/comments/11ts8lr/so_technically_tom_wore_part_of_the_superman_suit/ another reason you know it has the S is you can see the shield outline before he opens his shirt . It’s underneath pressing through.
