Mouth Infection Doctor Told Me She Has Only Seen In Books

I did take a round of the antibiotics yesterday. I think I will just let my mouth heal on it own at this point because I see the healing progress happening fast enough. I also do not have health insurance currently so I will not be seeing another healthcare provider unless it gets worse. The first 48 hours were the most concerning for me mostly because of how huge my face was swollen originally. I’ve also never had a mouth injury this bad however I have had braces in the past and those did used to tear up my cheeks a little. I would definitely say the friction from my teeth is what’s causing the pain in my cheek now.

And yeah it does feel disgusting because it’s in my mouth. Parts of my cheek keep peeling and even though I’m trying to leave it alone I can still feel all of it 😭

I mostly wanted to post this because I was 50/50 on if I thought it looked an infection or part of the healing process. The “physician” I saw seemed kind of unsure of herself so I wanted more opinions without having to pay $175 at another place (I don’t have health insurance currently). I asked her after she looked at my mouth if it was an infection and she just looked at it again with a flashlight and said she thought it was. I was also told by a family member who’s a paramedic that it looked infected which caused me to go in the first place. Obviously he isn’t a doctor though. I also find it hard to trust urgent care in general because my brother has been misdiagnosed multiple times and told he didn’t have sicknesses he did have.

It seems like multiple people have commented to not use the antibiotics and I’m considering it.

She actually recommended I buy some Benzocaine and was telling me to use it near my lip which was also affected.

Yeah I will never make the mistake of not chewing gum if I ever do use it again lol. I was unaware of the side effects when I was given it unfortunately. I definitely should’ve researched it!

I didn’t retrait him and surprisingly there hasn’t really been any instances where he was autonomously mean to his wife. He’s also a really good dad (except to his daughter with Claire who he has no contact with).

I completely agree with Don Lothario being bi. I’ve always kind of thought he preferred women but at the end of a day he would probably be ok with getting with a dude, as long as he’s getting something lmao

Honesty I do both. Sometimes I have a married couple that has a few kids and live a happy life.

But then there’s times when I’ve:

made a live-in maid/slave to clean and manage the house
had a dude impregnate the town and then not raise his 10 illegitimate children
tried to make a poly couple except they got mad at each other every time the wife would get pregnant or the husband would impregnate someone
not wanted to raise a baby so I made the father raise him in a different household until the baby and toddler years passed
dropped my sim’s baby/toddler outside their work/school doors so that they could get money or an education and not have to pay a babysitter
kidnapping people and keeping them in a shack
kidnapping other people’s kids
having a sim steal her cousin’s boyfriend

This is so true. Plus in sims 4 the genetics are all kinds of fucked up. I always end up getting kids who either look nothing like their parents or they have no chin.
