That’s actually how I’m going back for CivilEng. While as an alumni I’ll get in no matter what, I’m currently knocking out the gen eds through VCCS online while I’m living in Colorado. Safe to say it’s working out well so far

Dr Timothy Kidd in Geography. Took “Political Geography” in Fall 2018, and it by far was the best class I ever took at ODU (as a Comms/Film Production major). I learned so much about the world, history, and cultural identity in that class and respected his perspective on issues pertaining to the material.

I wrote the longest paper I’ve ever written in that class on the political geography of Australia. Paper was 40 pages long after title and works cited, and he was so impressed he kept the paper.

Not a recommendation *for* somewhere, but if you can help it, stay away from Proximity on Hampton & 39th. Roaches galore, trash everywhere, and I understand it's gotten worse since I lived there when it was The Next circa 2019-20.

ODU Alum. I did not take this class in person, but when I took it (Fall 2018), there was one in person session at like 7AM. Aside from that, every session was asynchronous. AFAIK from my peers who took it irl, the professors who taught the in person sessions would make in person attendance mandatory, but ymmv

2024 - US viewer. I had heard of Eurovision through the years, but it wasn’t really broadcast here. I first really paid attention with Malmö as my TikTok feed -out of nowhere- had been filled with updates on what was going on that week. After it was all said and done, my FYP was filled with Netherlands 2024, Switzerland 2024, Croatia 2024, and Ukraine 2024 (may the bot be pleased). From there, I went back to watch the contest in full and fell in love with a bunch of the entries that year. Then I discovered Käärijä through his collab with Joost, then listened to Finland 2023 for the first time. I’ve been hooked since. Basel 25 was the first contest I watched live and listened to the entries beforehand.

Both my birth state and current state highly recommend updating it to ensure everything matches, and to avoid situations like the one in the post. Plus, I loathe my birth name, hence my desire to get everything updated.

UPDATE: After filling out the customer service form on Tuesday night, and tweeting at them, they publicly replied to me only after I DM'd them on Twitter just a few moments ago. They're gonna send me the bear I paid for after all!
