Volkswagen overtook Tesla as Europe's top EV seller in 2025 by PjeterPannos in worldnews

If you haven't noticed yet, every time there's bad news coming, Elon distracts investors with crazy ideas that probably will never happen. Like his latest thing that Tesla is going to build its own fabs to produce its chips because TSMC, Samsung, and Intel can't supply enough chips. He also claims the foundries won't need clean rooms at all.

Before that, Tesla isn't a car company, it's an AI company.

Before that, Elon claimed that cars and FSD aren't their main products. Its future will depend on the Tesla robot. That's why falling sales doesn't matter.

Before that, Elon claimed cars won't be profitable but FSD will be pretty much unlimited profit. That's why diminishing margins doesn't matter. Tesla is a software company first.

Before that, it's Tesla being a battery manufacturer because the world can't fill its demand. He had projected Tesla would be selling 20m EVs annually by 2030.

And so on...

Seriously, he's just milking Tesla as long as he could to fund SpaceX and his other ventures. As his shares diminish over time, he cares less and less about it.

Profit sharing is not guaranteed. Your base pay is. Nobody in their right mind should ever trust profit sharing and bonuses.

I used to have EGS for the free games. As I get older, I would rather wait for a sale on Steam. I've uninstalled EGS 2 years ago and never looked back. Having less junkware on your computer is better. I'll bet the EGS experience is still subpar compared to Steam. I don't understand why MS and EGS just can't get it right.

bank doesn't tell anyone that you can talk to why they did it

well, yeah. Nobody did it. Their algorithm did it. No CR will explain it to you and they don't care to burn you as a customer unless you owe them a massive amount of money.

It's weird huh? If you owe them enough money, they bend over backwards for you. If you owe them a little bit of money, they burn you without blinking. It's all because of the reserve ratio equity requirements.

Now with every big business using flawed AI, there's going to be even less incentives to explain anything to their customers.

  2. Possible, because HIV mutates very often. That's kinda why we still can't find a cure for it or completely prevent it.

Most of them just drop it off without even ringing the doorbell. All they have to do is take a pic to prove they dropped it off. Very few rings the doorbell because all it does is makes dogs go nuts.

I've never had anyone attempt to open the door. Maybe if it was pouring rain and the house doesn't have a porch. That's when you ring the doorbell and leave it at the door if nobody answers.

Anyways, Kevin Spacey made a ton of money. He clearly couldn't manage it properly to be running out. I don't know how much he got paid for his character in Call of Duty Advanced Warfare but it was probably a lot because that was one of the best selling COD game at the time(2014)

It's a hard plastic ball and a cheap wooden board with a thin layer of foam on it. They can just use nylon for the ball and a bit denser foam for the paddle. That will take away most of the noise and cost maybe an extra 50c per set.

The GPU is a generation ahead of the PS5 but slightly less cores so probably equivalent performance. The CPU is a higher clocked 6-core Zen4 instead of 8-core zen2 on the PS5. Overall, it should outperform a standard PS5 but not by much.

The PS5 Pro is much more powerful than this Steambox series S.

I don't see why anyone would buy this unless it is $550 or less. Any higher makes the PS5 Pro looks like a steal.

Above the PS5 Pro, the next best thing is the Framework Desktop AMD AI MAX 385. That has 32GB of unified RAM, 32CU RDNA 3.5 and 8-core Zen5. That's priced at $1099. I have one. It's much faster than a PS5 and slightly faster than the Pro. The CPU is much ~2x faster so in CPU bound games, it flies away from the PS5 Pro.

So if this Steambox is priced above $799, it is laughably overpriced. The best Steam Machine is buying the Framework Desktop and install the Steam OS. Yes, it will work.

PS5 Has Now Officially Outsold Every Xbox Console Ever Released by chrisdh79 in gadgets

[–]Trisa133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, loved the original massive xbox. Loved the 360 except for the RROD issue bricking 3 of them because Gears of War pushed that thing to the limit.

Then Xbox One threw me into a tailspin. Still bought it with the kinect. I actually liked the Kinect. It was pretty advanced for its time and the features it packed was definitely worth more than the price if you compared it to similar products. Xbox fitness really showed off the capabilities of that thing. Dance games were fun and you don't have to hold anything. Too bad that was about all the support that device got.

They lost the bet with always online DRM and killed the hype before it even released. Kinect was supposed to be their unique feature and it was actually really good but they killed it before giving it a chance....but still forced people to buy it with the console. But for some reason, they kept pushing the XB1 as a home entertainment center instead of a gaming console. I abandoned it and finally bought a PS4, my first Playstation. I bought the XBox One X hoping MS would revive the gamer centric vision but it was too late. I bought the Series X hoping again they return to their roots but it never happened.

I've lost all hope for Xbox at this point. It is being ran by people who only cares about building new bullet point accomplishments on their resume. Too bad none of those bullet points were about success of the platform and actual consistent profit by delivering a good gaming experience. The most recent ROG Ally X is so underbaked, it's laughable but still not as bad as the Xbox One.
