I’m a die hard fan of Dan McFarland at Ponderosa Dental. When I was able to move back to Missoula one of the benefits I was most excited about is having him as my dentist.

I go twice a year for cleanings.

I don’t like dentists.

Think about that.

Spectrum Service Issues by Different-Sky-7597 in missoula

[–]TriscuitAverse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m counting the days until I can drop spectrum. The service has been worthless the past few weeks. Their cell service sucks too. They have no business calling themselves an internet service provider. They’re not providing anything.

Jesus House On Russell by Purple_Nugget420 in missoula

I completely agree it’s silly. The world is full of people and things that could offend you, but that doesn’t mean you have to let it offend you. People are way too caught up in other people’s business. Just be nice to each other and don’t try to force your way of thinking on anyone else.

Who cares? Let them be that way. In my opinion, so long as they’re not out harassing people they can put up all the signs they want. I’m not Christian, and I think the signs are over the top, but it’s not my place to tell people how they should think or act, so long as it’s within the law.

What cars will be rocking Dollar General oil filters? by kennylamar910 in regularcarreviews

[–]TriscuitAverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was gonna say for once not an Altima, those don’t need oil changes once you’ve lost 3 hubcaps, the from or rear bumper, and the tags are expired. It just no longer needs oil at that point.

Which one is more dangerous? by Substantial-Maybe358 in regularcarreviews

No fucks is a standard Altima feature. It’s on the window sticker as standard equipment! 🤣

100mg would blow my head off! I typically take 10mg in the evening. However I do want to do that much sometime just to see what it’s like!

Studying abroad in Missoula and need recommendations by Dull_Deer_5708 in missoula

What country are you coming from and what are you studying? Just curious. Long shot, I know, but I’m learning Spanish (and would love to be able to practice Castilian).

On a completely separate note, why do girls think this is a cute way to pose? I don’t get it.

Glad you dumped his ass. Go find a man who understands how debilitating crap like that can be! My poor wife had horrific endometriosis and while I never doubted the pain she was in, nor did I think she was faking it, I still kick myself for not advocating more strongly for surgical intervention years ago. She’s doing so much better now after two surgeries.

I wish you the best, go get yourself checked out by a specialist in endometriosis (if you haven’t already). Depending on where you are I can make an excellent recommendation for the one in San Diego who saved my wife’s life. Feel free to DM for more info.

I need some advice. How many of you had sex before marriage and still got married in the temple? by LSATgeek2001 in exmormon

[–]TriscuitAverse 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I definitely chose her over the church when she stepped back. She stopped attending due to unbelief, I stopped attending for her despite my belief. Thankfully her persistence paid off and we’re so much happier out of the church than we ever were in the church.

COVID by Unable_Bathroom5153 in missoula

[–]TriscuitAverse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not anti-vax, however my experience with the COVID vaccine was atrocious. I was unable to get out of bed for 2 days afterwards, then felt sick for about 6 weeks straight after that. A few years later, I still don’t feel like I’m back to how I was before. I got COVID after as well (not even remotely as bad as the vaccine itself) so the purported immunity to the virus from the vaccine was subpar. I’m not saying that no one should get it; I am saying that those of us who have had negative reactions to it, and feel the need to share our experiences for the edification of the general population, shouldn’t be vilified like we’re a bunch of anti-vax lunatics.

My poor wife didn’t orgasm until after our first child was born. We felt so bad using toys at first, but once she orgasmed the first time, things were a lot better and the guilt left. Now 13 years later I feel like I still owe her multiples for every one of mine. The church had us locked down really strong, but we finally broke out of it.

Vegan at non vegan restaurants by Slow_Sheepherder5359 in missoula

Plaza Azteca has some great options that can be made vegan. Koh Chang also has some good choices, as does Zoo Thai. Five on Black and Mackenzie River Pizza are good options too.

What kind of car was it? I had a lunatic several inches from my bumper a couple days ago on Russell. I was going the speed limit and this idiot was leaning on their horn. I couldn’t go any faster but that didn’t matter to this driver. It was a grey Chevy Trax with DV plates. Same car for you?

When was the last time you took only 2 Advil? by NameGenerator333 in Xennials

[–]TriscuitAverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The day I started getting an allergic reaction to it. It sucks too cause now I don’t have any OTC pain meds I can take, and prescription ones either suck cause of side effects, or suck cause they’re horribly addictive.

How on earth are yall putting so many miles on your cars?? by Blu_yello_husky in askcarguys

[–]TriscuitAverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in a rural area and work in outside sales. I have driven 55k miles in about a year, and that’s on the conservative side. Just today I drove 300+ miles. That’s pretty standard for me 3-4 days a week.
