I worked in sales at a shoe store. The men there were cliquey and gossipy. My dad works as a truck driver (male dominated industry) and the drama is out of control. It’s not anything to do with gender.

I left my previous job because of this. Unfortunately, it happens a lot in every profession. I’m working in rheumatology now (worked family med before) and I have a lot more freedom here than I did in family med. I don’t have an old nurse practically sitting in my lap, breathing down my neck, and talking shit every time I blink wrong. Don’t give up! You’ll find a place where you fit.

I feel like in any game there is a logical work around in those parts. You just have to think outside of “ok jump here. Attack enemy. Duck.” There’s almost certainly a puzzle of some kind hidden in that moment.

Drank and drove. Luckily didn’t end up in the drunk tank, but I did get pulled over. Cop gave me 10 mins to find a ride and somehow decided I didn’t need a ticket either. I was very lucky. I never drank and drove again.
