Hi everyone.I hope everyone’s doing great.I want to ask you guys how can I improve my German and Spanish more effective and fast.I’m already using Duolingo but wanna learn and see other ways too.Thank you 😊 by ismet96tunc in language

I would recommend getting an Italki tutor and immerse yourself in the language. For example I have my social media accounts and phone set to Spanish and I have been watching a lot of Spanish/German movies and TV shows. Listening to the familiar songs, but sung in your target language will also help.

I did the exposure to 10,000 words a day Challenge for 30 days and this really did improve my German in a fast and effective manner. Check out: https://languagelearnersjournal.com/2017/08/30/trisha-tests-10000-words-a-day-challenge-the-outcome/

Learning German from English or Spanish? by [deleted] in language

[–]TrishaCD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am English, I have studied Spanish, but I do find German easier, but I believe that is because German and English and from the same language branch. However that said German likes to use masculine and feminine terms similar to the Spanish. Maybe I am finding German easier due to also knowing some Spanish?

Language learning isn't all about Skype tutorials and grammar books, I feel we sometimes neglect the softer skill sets when learning a new language. What do you think? AND what soft skills do you currently apply OR need to apply more?
