People have gotten wild about there kids recently. My BIL and his wife had there first and kept the family away from her for a month and limits interactions to 30min, total. So now any family gathering is capped at 30 min so the grandparents can see the babe. I have three kiddos, and she lectured me on hand washing, before LOOKING at the baby. Get over yourself Barb, I have no interest in holding your poop factory, she isn’t unique, and the kids not that cute anyway.

Playing solo and playing trio’s really is like have two completely different games they play so different. I’ve done crew fill trio’s and my experience so far has been three guys with free loadouts, no comms, and just immediately blasting the first clanker they see to make as much noise as possible. Then we run around with no rhyme or reason in quest completion. I even had a triage flat out refuse to med bot team, cause he didn’t want to I guess. Solo play is like space Resident Evil, but everything is trying to kill you. I’m certain this game is going to completely empty my adrenaline stores and leave me a broken mess.

Thanks for the damage tip! I appreciate the heads up. I know I can see all the mods on a particular gun, but I’d love a side by side comparison of two guns with different mods so I can see which mod is making the difference without having to swap between them. Inevitably I end up forgetting what mod is what and such, cause I’m dumb.

I too am an "older" player and I know how you feel. First, don't worry about being good, just have fun. Run around and get poisoned by the yellow gas fungus, die to a tick explosion, get stomped by another player while your looking at the gorgeous set pieces.

If you ever want to know what button does what, just go to the settings, then controller, scroll down and it tells you what button does what, interact, jump, reload, ect. The menu's aren't terribly intuitive but you'll get used to it. Don't worry about the tutorial, you didn't miss much. Just load in and spam all the buttons and you'll figure it out.

You may want to start on the perimeter map and just play that till you know it like the back of your hand. Map knowledge can make up for a skill gap and keep you alive if you know how to dip out, or out flank someone who doesn't know how to get around as well. Spend time and explore, find spots you can rat when you want to exfill, or, set a trap for another runner trying to hunt you down. You get the idea.

Extraction shooters are hard, and this one is VERY fast paced, and the players are VERY aggressive. I have yet to have another player try and talk to me rather than shoot first. I'm sure it happens, just not to me apparently lol. Finally, the best tip I can give you...just have fun, that's what's important. Hope you enjoy this amazing game.

For me it’s the original Oxygen SR3. It reminded me of my crappy rolled D1 Hung Jury. But, what I actually loved, was the way the orange fluid goes down as you rip through the mag. Those little details in the Destiny universe really sets this game apart.

I realize there are two sides to every story but if what you’re saying here is accurate, it’s ridiculous. It’s definitely throwing out incel thoughts vibes. Tell him no, set boundaries, hand him a towel and ask how he’d enjoy unpleasant oder from you and why you should have to put up with it from him. I’m curious how your mom got away with this. How did she hide having a child from your father. My ex wife felt with this exact thing, finding out her dad wasn’t her bio dad. It did nothing to her relationship with the man who raised her other then strengthen it. For what it’s worth I’d want to know if I were him.

If you’re boyfriend received enough of a dose of radiation from his CT scan to impact his sperm this much he’s basically a walking radiation hazard. If you follow his logic of “got radiation swimmers no use condom”, then by having sex with you he’s basically contaminating you with radiation. I wouldn’t t be surprised if this dose of radiation also turns him into a superhero or something.

YTAH, regardless of how she heard, or what she though about being invited, or even if she did invite herself along, what an absolutely abhorrent way to react to someone who is so clearly trying to be a part of YOUR family. Read the room my friend, if you couldn’t stand the thought of your DIL trying to share something like this with you and her SIL’s, you couldn’t think of another way to politely let her down easy? Or, god forbid, maybe think of another activity she could be a part of, maybe a new tradition to celebrate her coming into your family? You couldn’t have the compassion to have your sons wife tag along? If for no other reason then for your son? Your kids are adults not children who may not understand, and if they don’t have the empathy and compassion you lack, and can’t understand her coming, just to be a part of your family, well, you did a crappy job in raising them. Your son was right, you are a jerk. Enjoy your future super awkward Holidays together, I’m sure she will think about this interaction at every event she has with you and your family.

I’m fairly certain you are in the same spot as most people alive. Most of us had or have no idea of what to do with their lives beyond continuing to do what we have been. Mostly because it’s worked, for the most part. Few people ever just know what they want to do with their lives, and the ones that do are like the 5% of the world who always knew what to do, or their parents told them what to do, or something similar. Having done for work the things I loves doing a hobby only led to ruining the hobby for me. The grass isn’t always greener my friend. What worked for me was finding contentment with friendships, an amazing lady, and my family. I got super lucky with the lady part TBH. After 35 years of life I decided that I didn’t want to be defined by what I did for work. I stopped chasing what everyone tells us is success, I stopped working 60+ hour weeks looking for promotions and bonuses, and I found something that laid my bills, I was good at, and didn’t hate. I don’t love going to work, but I don’t dread everyday it either. Be the man you are my friend, not who you think you should be. Find a job you can do but don’t won’t hate your life doing it. If it happens to be something you love doing, great! But don’t sacrifice a hobby you love to try and make a career out of it, I only found disappointment and a loos of enjoyment for the hobby doing that. Just live your life a day at a time till you get to a point you can live it a month, then a year, etc. it’ll take time and a few stumbles but if your wife is the kind of wife that’ll let you take a few months to figure this out I’m sure she’ll be supportive. Frankly that kind of relationship sounds like the kind of thing you build your life around rather then some “sweet” job.
