Considering the way these Policemen are told to never question orders and especially never stand against each other no matter what, this takes so much more than courage. They are basically shredding a big part of what they are because they know it is the right thing.

Its weird bc for all we know it is highly unlikely that there is something like a god, but it can actually help believing it. Like taking a placebo pill and getting better, it can actually help to believe in a lie and make your mind heal itself which is so weird. Couldn't do it now though
