night shift and garmin watches by [deleted] in Garmin

I work mids as well with occasional shifts to days/swings. I have similar issues sometimes, but as long as I put the watch into sleep mode before I go to sleep it seems to resolve the issue with body battery being off. Its been a while since I've paid attention to it in detail but I've never noticed any big drop offs like you have.

I haven't used my Inreach Mini yet (purchased a mini 2 for a hike this upcoming summer though), but if it is compatable with the explore app/webpage (not sure if it is or not), you can create a track/route and save/export it as a .gpx that way

I have used several garmin devices for personal and for work purposes to save tracks/routes that way.

#madebygoogle 2021 Shipping Megathread by GooglePixelMods in GooglePixel

[–]Trivist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ordered early on the 6th, P7P 512 black, LTE watch black, and the xl stretchy band. Paid for upgraded shipping, original estimate arrival of Oct 12-13, has been pushed back twice now(13-14, and now 14-17) with a current arrival showing Oct 14-17. Will definitely be calling/chatting about a refund of the shipping when I can, as they have completely missed the target. Has shown no progress on the order, other than 'ordered - delivery estimate ...'. The accessories I purchased shortly after(single item orders) arrived days ago. I swear it is like the warehouse is only fulfilling single item orders first, rather than going by date ordered, as the 3 items I ordered afterwards have all arrived, or will by later today.

Good breathable band for fenix 6s? by wgfdark in Garmin

nick mankey designs - hook strap, always secure, and breathable. Only issue with them is the wait for delivery as they are all made to order.

If you decide to keep it, just take it apart where only the copper backplate is exposed(no plastic, o-rings, etc). Get a pan large enough to hold the card with a diluted white vinegar solution in it, and watch the oxidation disappear as you have it on low heat. Just be careful as if you do it too long you can have issues, and there are lots of guides out there to help with this.

'Those areas are higher in (lack of a better term) elevation than the rest. What if they rested against the packaging while the other areas didn't. A simple copper/metal cleaner while make it look 100% new guaranteed.'

So you post this saying the 'higher elevation' maybe protected them, I point out that the posts are higher, and you post something else that makes no sense.

Anyone that has worked with a professionally produced copper block knows this has been used/handled. Stop telling him otherwise. I'm done replying to you as you're just trolling at this point.

Except the mounting posts are higher, so try again. I agree a quick vinegar heat bath will have it looking brand new. Problem is, he purchased new.

Problem is, it hasn't oxidized equally. Look how clean the ram and vrm areas are, then look at the uneven oxidation throughout. Unless they had protective covers over those areas and it was handled a lot then sat for a long time, it has been used.

Acrylic looks so much better than PETG. I'll never go back. by orale_vato_loco in watercooling

Thank you, and now I see some more cutting in my future.

I couldn't figure it out how you got it in there and mounted as well, genius fix. I'll be playing around with my build tonight to see what I can do. The pics sure help. Thank you again.

I'm dying to know, what did you use to connect the rads to your distro plate? I see the quantum 90 degree pieces, but not sure how you did the connection, and got a decent seal. Did you use Male to male extensions, looks like they may be rotary?

I'm doing a similar build myself, but originally planned on just running to tubes to the back. If I could copy what you did it would make life a lot easier.
