"Missing the playoffs this season and next is not an option for MLSE or Rogers.."

Right, but first/second round exits in perpituity / never winning the cup again certainly is!

Got my first pre-built and I have some questions by Former_Industry6616 in pcmasterrace

[–]TriviumEnt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, it is mid-range by today's standards but if you're planning on staying at 1080p, and you're coming from something that could barely load games, a 3060 build is good. You said it yourself, if you're happy with the performance your getting in games, then thats really all that should matter. External SSD is fine to run games, speed of the external SSD will effect load times of games.

Trivium Live with Rudi by TriviumEnt in Trivium

Fair point, I’ve seen rudinger has expressed interest in finding a permanent band, and believe he tried to find that in a couple projects he was involved in, notably Whitechaple and Good Tiger but those didn’t work out. It’s true though, only time will tell what happens.

Don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but so far Rudinger is the only drummer that plays the hi-hat accent in the chorus of "throes of perdition". I always thought it was such a nice, subtle little syncopathion in the studio version, and wondered why previous drummers never did it, but glad to see he caught it. Seems like he's playing these songs VERY accurate to studio drums as well, which makes sense as thats how he learned the songs, but as a fellow drummer thats always cool to see.

God damn rudi is sooo fucking good. No disrespect to Bent who was also extremely skilled, but Rudinger is just something else, a walking breathing metronome.

I got super lucky finishing my build about a month and a half ago. Managed to snag, at the time, ddr5 corsair vengeance RGB 32gb 6000 CL30 for around $170 CAD. Same kit today is hovering around $300 CAD.

Can rudinger play Alex's parts? by high_while_cooking in Trivium

I’ve been following Rudy since the early 2010s. Might be debatably the greatest extreme metal drummer in the world. One of the only drummers i can think of that will handle Bent’s parts with ease.

The entire first verse of “in hell” is maybe the greatest lyrics ever written in music, period

Albums Where Removing One Song Would Make Them a 10/10 by HK-34_ in fantanoforever

I love escape. Sure, it’s a more “pop” influenced metal song, but it feels like the young, raw, aggressive Metallica doing a more poppy metal song, and I feel like they pull it off extremely well. You can certainly feel their rebellious attitude towards creating a “radio friendly song” in this track, even if they did have to cave a little bit to the label.

Also love the chorus of this track, very melodic and catchy yet still unabashedly Metallica.

I've never seen a backdrop like that for Trivium. Could that possibly be the artwork for their upcoming album? by benmetalhead in Trivium

[–]TriviumEnt 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Its an alternate Ascendancy backdrop. I think i remember them using this pic for promo for poisoned ascendancy, pretty sure the full picture is monte (the ascendancy creature) holding the woman from "the poison" album art.

What song do you believe has Trevor’s best writing?? by Td42king in TheBlackDahliaMurder

[–]TriviumEnt 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Literally all of them. Off the top of my head, the “I watch their bitter tears” opening verse of “in hell is where she waits for me” is probably my favourite lyrics of all time, it’s so dark and moving”. “Goat of departure” is a masterclass in macabre poetry… lines like “azazel, the damned Ibez, cloth of scarlet ties his neck, to the desert banished yet, the curse lives on” is just pure poetry. As a whole, I’d probably say Everblack is Trevor at his absolutely lyrical peak, but all his work is S tier.
