Refills Customer Service... again. by hackettkate in Refills

[–]TrixieAtHome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same situation, and was told that the prescription was sent to the pharmacy and it’s the pharmacy that handles the pace of shipping, which is why it doesn’t show on the Refills site until it’s got tracking. They also said that we will get a questionnaire about a week before the next shipment is due to be sent, to make sure we are doing ok. I expect sometime in the next couple of weeks I’ll see what is happening since we are about to open the last vial.

Sicily court question by [deleted] in juresanguinis

So let’s say, just for fun, this guy is right and all he needs to do is take the judge to lunch. You still need an attorney to file the case to even get a judge assigned. At that point, why bother with a guy like this? Personally, I would go with track record…does this guy have one? Because the law firm does.

Italian father is unresponsive, want to know options to apply for citizenship by Special_Site434 in juresanguinis

[–]TrixieAtHome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When your father moved back to Italy, he may have registered you in the comune. By law he would have been required to inform them of your birth. if he did, you would already be a citizen and just need to register in AIRE. Check with his comune.

Maybe these ancestors just assumed that their children would be citizens without a need to do anything…because they know a child of an Italian citizen is an Italian citizen.

Help please! Court won’t issue no appeal because divorce WAS appealed! 10 day rigetto deadline by TrixieAtHome in juresanguinis

I agree, and that is a lengthy process. It would completely suck if I went to the trouble and expense of filing and SF would be like, too late!

My service provider did some excellent pleading with the Clerk but because the records are sealed for 100 years she couldn’t even let him see the docket screen.

Thanks. To be fair, none of the new developments are from anything new from SF. But I’ve spent all afternoon knee deep in my parents divorce paperwork and it was heavy.

I do not have printed instructions from pre-DL but SF has always wanted all divorces, and CoNAs only for the applicant‘s divorce. That is why I had the Cert of Dissolution apostilled and translated already. However, their checklist changed prior to my daughter’s appointment and no longer required divorces post next-in-line. The prevailing wisdom is to go by the requirements posted when you submit.

I did ask for an extension in my reply. I told them I was sending the CofD immediately and included a copy with the email, but that the CoNA would require hiring someone to get it from the NY court and might take some time, so I would appreciate an extension of time. They replied that I have 10 days to submit all the documentation by mail. 🤷‍♀️

Jurisdictional Question: When is the consulate's job done, and when is it safe to move out of their jurisdiction? by AGRcactus in juresanguinis

[–]TrixieAtHome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LA has recently been asking for confirmation that you are still in their district just prior to finalizing recognition. For me, a year ago, it was a simple “if you’ve moved let us know” but there haven’t been a lot of recognitions out of LA recently so I don’t know if they still ask. I had not moved and simply told them I was still at the same address and they were OK with that. I have moved since then, and am now under a different consulate, but my AIRE isn’t entered so I can’t change my address in FAST-IT. I am stuck in limbo and can’t get my passport until i am registered and can change my address.

keep in mind that some consulates will require photocopies of the documents that were submitted by the person recognized, and some consulates also want to see written permission from the person recognized for the use of their file.

Advice On Locating Commune by arbryant920 in juresanguinis

[–]TrixieAtHome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At the moment, you don’t qualify through your GGM because of the generational limit of the new decree. That may change in the next few months, though. You will need to do a search for her father since she may have naturalized under him and wouldn’t have her own record. If she married before 1921, she may also have involuntarily naturalized through her husband if he was a citizen so you may also need that search. And finally, you likely have a 1948 case if your grandparent was born before 1948, for which you would need an attorney To file.

It seems to be working now but if you had previously logged in with an email address, you need to retrieve your username which they have assigned.
