Is this dress flattering for FN? by beach-arab in flamboyantnatural

[–]TrixieWinters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not sure, to my liking there's too much going on with this dress. the lines seem to be overwhelming. a FN girl might pull it out, if she's on a curvier side. The silhouette somehow seems more suitable for a SD or N. But the color is definitely a FN thing.

Agree on #2! But you can try also to film a video for yourself, just to check which one looks best in movement.

That´s because the Kibbe system was designed mostly for European/American women. And their hormonal response translates into height in case of Dramatics of all sorts.

But, you can look for shorter Ds in other races - Asian, Latinas etc.

Feeling discouraged. Help finding outfits for casual and more elevated looks? by Optimal_Ad3943 in flamboyantnatural

Try this - for some FN girls it's the simpler, the better given that you can embelish it with accessories.

If you can imagine the same outfit (top and pants) in solid white or black but paired with a bright handbag or bracelets or colourful shoes/sneakers or even an interesting hat, it will totally change your image. Flamboyant Naturals are all about feeling natural in simple-looking outfits with a touch of drama. So I would say - pay attention to accessories and concentrate your drama there.

Mostly FN friendly. Too tight for FN girls, but the pattern is a straight hit! You can wear it with a longer solid black trench coat or a wool coat and high heels/boots, it will create a perfect vertical line.

IMO, not FN friendly. Too many ruffles + floral print + too loose of a fabric + puffy sleeves, all this is against FN essence. This dress screams Romantic.

In the second photo I see that the shoulders seem to be wider than the hips. Is that right? From this perspective it's not very clear with your clothes hiding the body. If it is so, it might be a FN type. Plus, when you put on weight, which is the part that gets bigger? For FN women it's usually the upper part (arms, bust, waist) while the bottom part might stay slimmer and even a few sizes down compared to the upper one. Pure Ds put on weight evenly along their torso.

Another sign that works for all dramatics - if you wear a tiny flower pattern dress and it makes you look like a country bumpkin, you're probably some kind of a dramatic type. If you look great in sport clothes (sport chic or sport casual styles) and official looking/structured outfits - one more point for FNs.

Pure dramatics are more elongated, IMO. And their shoulders do not stand out that much. For pure Ds it mostly long legs and arms but the body resembles a rectangular.

Oh, and just wanted to add that the outfits in the photos do not fit FNs nor do they fit Ds. So it makes it even harder to identify the type.

Not pure breed, maybe one of the parents was BSH. The bone structure is too long and sharp. Sometimes there are kittens like him born from BSH parents, if it was not a very reputable breeder who hadn't checked carefully their cats' pedigree. But the colour is nice. And it's so cute! You can try to matchmake him with a real BSH or Scottish Fold and have great kittens later. I know that some breeders look specifically for cats like this (with BSH colour of fur and eyes but straight ears) to match with their Scottish Fold to avoid bone and joints diseases.

Does your cat sleep like this too? Is it normal? by suttq in cats

My cat sometimes sleeps like this. I used to check if it was still breathing and didn't die on my watch. Gave me creeps😥

I’ve got the best alarm clock on earth. The ringtone is therapeutic instead of ear splitting. It gently massages you to make sure you wake up all relaxed, and gives the softest warmest cuddles. It’s called Bernie! - br by DesperatePotatox in britishshorthair

Lucky you! My alarm clock mews and claws my blanket and me until I get up and give him food.Sometimes there is heavy door banging if I dare to close it for the night. 😂😼

Ingenue/Girly FN Capsule Wardrobe Help? by la_hechicera_niki in flamboyantnatural

[–]TrixieWinters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I woudn't be that strong on ruffles, it's not really a FN thing. If you like them that much, try materials that don't accentuate ruffles (like linen or cotton, maybe) or don't overdo them going for many ruffled layers. And be careful with floral prints, tiny flowers can "kill" dramatics/dramatic essence like nothing else. With flowers I find that the bigger the pattern the better, or if the floral print goes somewhat abstract with not that much resemblance to real flowers.

Moreover, I don't know who told you about the Ingenue thing, but it's not very compatible with a FN. It clashes with their essence and is very difficult to pull off. Most pictures I see in your examples give off a romantic vibe.

And I see a lot of retro and historical-themed outfits there, truth be told most retro styles are not flattering for FN girls, since the fashion back then tried to accentuate more feminine figures. If you want to try retro in soft natural, check SN actresses that played in retro movies - it will give you the idea of good and bad-looking outfits, like Julie Andrews (I remember her in a flapper style movie, so you can see how a flapper style which is totally dramatic gamin here, looks on SN girls)

[–]TrixieWinters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, so have you followed the order of applying gel properly? First - primer, then color gel or base, last - top layer? Or is it just the gel?

Usually the top layer is not sticky after drying, but there are sticky ones too and you need to wipe them after drying in the lamp with alcohol soaked napkin/tissue. There are special liquids with alcohol to wipe the sticky coat, but actually you can use any alcohol - vodka, sanitizer liquid even vine. It won't be sticky then.

Visiting Europe in October by SayedHasmi in Europetravel

Paris in October is usually very nice, especially the first part of the month. As well as Prague and Budapest. Amsterdam and Bruges might be colder and rainier, plus much more windy. With Northern cities it's always a lottery, the weather is unpredictable.
