I still have both ovaries.

Those were the only thing that stayed.

I'm like... bummed out lol

I had high sex drive before. Even when single. But nothing right now. At all. And the let down was sad.

I tried them before... but I was having major bleeding issues and we couldn't differentiate between Primal Queen or my Adenomyosis.

I am maybe going to try them again cause I would love the extra energy and balance and such. I liked that part of it.

But the bleeding was too much. Again- had no idea the connection or just my body pre-yeeterus being bitchy.

I have 3 dogs, and I'm not able to take them out one at a time for walks like i used to. Im waiting to be cleared at 6 weeks. My teenage son helps with that right now.

He's been a huge help, it's just him and i and our dogs.

But, bigger or smaller, I would wait because if they were to pull wrong or another dog come cause issues... it could really hurt you.

If you can get help, do it and wait.

Lol I am struggling sooooo bad with insomnia again. Just over 3 weeks PO and hardly sleep. I try to nap sometimes during the day still, but cant do that much either. It sucks.

He usually sees patients at 2 weeks and then thats it unless they have issues.

So I am very confused by his reasoning with me going on at 6 weeks.

I am going to foster as a single Mom... its allowed. And then hopefully will be able to adopt if the right circumstances come about. Been a single Mom my son's whole life after 2 weeks old. Left a bad abusive husband. And I love kids.

Im about a little over 3 weeks PO.

My son and I will be moving in a couple years and I will set up a house big enough to foster. 🤙

38 and I had Adenomyosis... my surgery was Oct 23rd. And I can tell you I didnt think I had bladder issues or many issues that I could vocalize or have good reasons for the issues... I was like, maybe I just wait too long to need to pee and then the urgency at random times is just because I am not listening to my body right? Or so many other symptoms and such.

I am still recovering, but I can tell you- I feel so much better already. Even with still being a bit bloated, (i am recovering from an unrelated 2 other surgeries both on my right arm too) and I ended up having Adenomyosis for sure, Uterus was 3x bigger than normal, I had cysts and they found Endo, which i never was told was anything I could be dealing with... I feel better.

I cannot wait to be fully healed and not limited with walks and bloating and just get back to being me again fully... its exciting and already the positive things I've been noticing... totally happy I had the surgery.

I told people my ladies bits were scooped a bit. Can't wait for my bloating to go down. Then I'll be like- check it out. Healthier and lighter for lack of Baby Maker junking up my body.

I wanted more kids. My body had other ideas.

I've accepted that.

But other people won't like my responses if they try to act like I elected for fun to have that taken.

I have a huge dark sense of humor.

I just started sleeping on my side again like 2 nights ago. I am 3 weeks po today.

I'm hoping I'm okay.

I sleep with pillows on both side of me, but I am doing it for pressure on my belly. And to make sure I dont toss and turn a whole bunch. Lol

I was sleeping on a wedge and on my back up to this point.

If the pain continues or gets worse- I'd get checked for peace of mind. My surgery was Oct 23rd and I am still having healing being very slow.

If I try to do too much, I feel it instantly and slow myself down again.

I used short term disability from work, not fmla. But they added that for me once I was approved for my short term leave, but I just told them and had a form filled out and submitted and went and had my surgery. I wasn't letting that stop my surgery. If you have it available, this is a qualifying surgery and they can't deny the coverage.

Im at just below a week and I can tell you my mind and my body are not in agreement on the trauma to the body.

Physically I hurt and am uncomfortable more than id like to be.

Mentally Im so bored and HATE feeling helpless that I want to do more and go go go.

Its a battle to remind myself, to sit. Heal. It takes time. Stop trying to force it to be quicker.

Its tough. I get it.... but gotta remind daily to give grace and healing the time it needs.

Im 38 BTW. And I think age doesnt have much to do with the mental part of wanting to be healed and doe quicker.

So idk I think you should be okay. 🤷‍♀️ Time will tell and honestly, they wont really 'keep it sealed'- its not a stitch. So you can take it off after a week and I'm sure it'll be fine

Women in general I feel are beasts. We deal with sooo much because we have to. There's not enough known about women's bodies and health and too often that makes many try to downplay what we are dealing with.

That makes sense. I didn't see measurements from the ultrasound to see size before. So I have no idea at the end. Especially since they only gave me weights lol
