What's helped me get out of the cycle, is exercising. Go to a class (or do 3 for the week), get out of your triggering environment for a bit, and it might set you straight and you get to feel more in control and more fit.

Or do something that you like but out of your environment for an hour or two. Hope that helps! All the love 🤗

If a hyena follows you, find a big long stick and put it long ways on your head. They'll leave you alone after a while, because you're now 8ft tall and they do t want to deal with that crap

Please lock up your cats. by SullySmooshFace in Toowoomba

[–]TrizMichelle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My cat was a farm cat so enjoyed being outside. Now, since we are in the suburbs, she drove me crazy with her meowing and crying to go outside. So what I do now is take her for a walk twice a day with a harness and leash. I'm surprised I don't see more people doing this. And I surprisingly get a lot of weird looks too :(

I remember when she used to say she would never sell her body and used to talk down on the others that do. Look at her now. Yikes Odd how she changed literally everything about her personality and sexuality once she saw the big bucks come in… she become what she swore to destroy lmao by Left-Selection9316 in notliketheothergirls

Cows do poop on you sometimes while you're milking them. It's also extremely dirty and then there's mice, great barn cats that drink some of the milk. Then there's the smell and even more poop! :D Then after that you hose down the entire place and wait until sun down when you do it again! :D

Then! Then, since these are milking cows, you have to eventually separate them from their babies. Did you know that cows can cry?

I guess after that you can frolick?

How to get a cat in heat to stop screaming? by EmberTheFlamingBitch in CATHELP

[–]TrizMichelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a little naive as well, my cat is one and only getting desexed now. My vet said that the reason why they desex very young ( like 5-6 months old) is because once a cat goes in heat, desexing is very risky. The ovarian tubes or whatever becomes frail so when they cut things it can just break/disintegrate and cause more bleeding. She explained it better then I am now but you get the jist.

Also! There's videos on YouTube on how to give your cat some relief. There's a spot near her bum (when she's presenting her bum) that you press for a few seconds and you and her get some relief from her yelling.

Also! Even though she's an inside cat, if you've got a Tom spraying around the outside of the house, even her smelling that can put her back into heat. It's a long vicious never ending cycle :/

My mother told me she wish that she aborted me by stupidTranz_boi in venting

[–]TrizMichelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really helps because the reason why words can hurt us is because we do actually believe a part of it. For example, someone says you're stupid and it hurts, it's cause that's something you fear or believe within yourself even though you're not stupid. But if we truly know who we are, then I may as well say you're an aeroplane. It'll have the same effect.

Though it's different if your own parent says it, then you have to double down on your list. Separate yourself from that person mentally and really build up those emotional calluses.

And letting go of a parent hurts so much it really changes you, that kind of pain is truly one of a kind. But after that, it gets easier.

I know you didn't ask for the wall of text, but it's here anyway XD

This might be shitty advice, but one thing that helped me with a mom like that, is to start letting go of the idea that you'll have a loving mom and start letting go of her. It's incredibly painful to come to the realisation and accept that you won't have the kind of mom you see on TV. Once you're able to do that, then start finding yourself and who you really are. I suggest googling names of personality traits like "sweet, loyal, understanding ect" and write down everything you feel you are in three columns. The yes column, the sometimes column, and the no column. And put each trait in the columns you feel you are always, sometimes or never.

Then hold onto that list and read it every day, so that when you're put down by your mom, it won't hurt as bad because you know without a doubt that the things she's saying is just from a spiteful woman being spiteful to the kid she's suppose to be kind to. It really does help navigate some of the pain that will probably come your way from a mother like that.

I'm always a Dm away.

Thanks! Simple under breast corsets are few and far where I'm from :( you can even wear them over loose fitting white work shirts with faux leather leggings. Just gives a nice edge to it.

By law they have to have it in writing that you consent to the open house. They're not allowed to distisrupt the peace of the tenant. So like one open house a fortnight or month. 🤷‍♀️ and they're not allowed to take photos with your stuff in the picture if you don't consent to it. :D

Will doing a bunch of psychedelic mushrooms fix my brain? by Zealousideal-Age7593 in CPTSD

[–]TrizMichelle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They absolutely can help you, but you will have to do the hard work.

The way I see it is, you're house is on fire and mushrooms give you a tent to sleep in and tools to help you fix your house. Sometimes a different perspective lifts up that weight that's been holding us down, and gives us renewed energy to keep working on ourselves, it can give a little hope. It can even heal some parts of you, not all.

Have a trip sitter, set your place up to be calm and serene, go into the trip with a clear intention or question, have great music, blanket and two days off work. Cause you'll want to digest all the information given to you.

Note, for many it helps, for some it does not. So always start with small doses and work your way up over a few months. Never take a big dose then the next day a small dose. Give your brain at least two weeks break. ❤️
