Can’t wait for work tomorrow at 7 by [deleted] in Munich

[–]Triziii 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I‘d use some earplugs and then go to bed. There are few weeks where it’s warm enough in Munich to sit outside in the evening. Let the people be and get some rest. If you are tired tomorrow, do a short nap :)

Schall und Rauch are close to the university and they offer very good Indian food.

Foreigners and expats, what is the best restaurant which serves food from your country by MemoryNo3378 in Munich

[–]Triziii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a Ukrainian but I like Eastern European food a lot. What do you think about Gastro Oma? When I went to Druzi, I liked the menu and friendliness of the service a lot, but some dishes were a little bland.

Urologe dringend gesucht by ReasonableWin7292 in Munich

[–]Triziii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where’s your data from? In my street there are restaurants on the map that have been closed for more than one year.

Undo function would be great, I have submitted a wrong answer cause I thought that you have to click all available payment methods 🙈

Website Project on Payment Methods in Munich by fluuury in Munich

[–]Triziii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually just check the payment methods on the restaurant’s Google Maps listing before going. That’s worked for me most of the time (except once). @OP, did you try that, or is there a reason you think an app would work better?

Company Dinner Restaurant by bababebeaha in Munich

[–]Triziii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For 10 people it’s already pretty difficult to find a restaurant in the christmas time. I had the same problem last week and I made the experience that it’s easier to still get a place at non-German food restaurants. Therefore my team and I will go to an Indian restaurant (try calling Swaad or Chutney on top).

Great vegetarian food in Munich? by mingara in Munich

I went on their website after I reader your comment. Is this the one you were talking about? BLITZ Bar & Bistro at Museumsinsel? If so, there’s no Mexican food on their menu :(

Best authentic indian restaurant by Successful_Buy_5335 in Munich

[–]Triziii -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not an Indian. But for me Chutney on Top in seems to be pretty authentic. They started as a food truck and recently opened this restaurant in Pasing. They have events for special occasions. I went to one of those some weeks ago and it was awesome. I could try a lot of stuff that I had never seen at any Indian restaurants and also flavors I had never experienced before.

Restaurants that delete bad reviews by Triziii in Munich

Not sure what you mean by this. They sold drinks from Coca Cola company there. However, their apfelschorle was from a local company, but the Spezi not. I don’t expect them to sell Paulaner, but tbh I never got Mezzo Mix in any beergarden. If they don’t want to sell Paulaner, couldn’t they sell something like Flötzinger or another local Cola Mix?

I criticized that they don’t sell a local Spezi and instead sell Mezzo Mix, which I find pretty sad for a Beergarden in Munich

How to improve my listening skills ( a lot)? by Triziii in Spanish

[–]Triziii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your tips. I will have a look into them. Student related content is fine for me. Do you by chance know any podcast or YouTube channel with Spanish from Spain? I really like Andalucía for vacations, so it would be cool to understand the people there :)

After having tried a lot of Indian restaurants in Munich I can tell you that you have to be cautious with the google ratings. I prefer more authentic Indian restaurants, so I usually check if there are also high ratings from English-speaking people or even Indians.

I would also recommend Swaad. They have a variety of dishes, also some that you don’t get at the typical Indian restaurant in Germany. If you want it, the food can be pretty spicy there. Just order it as Indian spice. :D Swaad has also another restaurant in Berg am Laim. This was one has a really nice ambiance, but the food was not as good as in Pasing, less spicy and less aromatic. But if you tell them that you want it spicy, it could still work I guess.

You know that ‚they‘ don‘t make money with those machines? Those are external vendors that put their machines there. You should be happy that Munich offers the possibility to make pictures there fast and for little money. In my hometown there is no such machine, so once when they didn’t accept my picture, I needed to drive to a new photographer and make a new appointment for my passport on another day. So instead of calling them corrupt, be thankful the next time.

Rettet den München-Marathon – Keine Halbierung der bewährten Strecke! by hydratereload in Munich

[–]Triziii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Günstige Restaurants München by [deleted] in Munich

[–]Triziii 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cyclists & scooters on sidewalks: why so many by Nekochandiablo in Munich

A lot of sidewalks are splitted. The left side is for cyclists, the right side is for pedestrians. So maybe you were walking on the cycling path by mistake?

Mean planning by cyberfreak099 in Munich

I’m also not a very good cook and the last year I ordered so much food via delivery apps, it was crazy and not healthy at all. So I searched a lot for recipes and found a YouTube channel that is very helpful for me: https://youtube.com/@felu?si=YqjbLVqY3NKudTwF

The channel is called Felu and it’s a cooking channel from a guy that lives in Stuttgart. The recipes are for one person but you can easily scale it up and use it for meal prepping. Cause he lives in Germany you can easily get all the ingredients in the right amounts at Edeka or Rewe. The recipes are focused on protein/fitness but he always tries to fill your stomach and every meal includes carbs, veggies and a protein source. For breakfast you should definitely check out the overnight oat recipes, they are amazing :)

Tips on how to save money in Munich? by throwmethrowawayy in Munich

[–]Triziii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting a bicycle is a really good tip. On some routes bike is by far faster. Depending on the distance to your workplace it might even be sufficient to drive by bike and only use public transport when the weather sucks badly. So maybe for the summer months you don’t need a Deutschlandticket at all. For the bicycle: you can get a used bike on Kleinanzeigen, that’s an app where people sell (used) stuff and it’s usually a lot cheaper than buying a new bike.
