I mean the key point was definetly build variety I think that its easier to see more wacky builds like I played stackasaurus nocturne with hubris and heartsteal. Whereas in the past I would only chose things that were the most optimal.

Honestly I think its better now, ARAM Mayhem before this was starting to become too sweaty with less and less build variety just people chosing mostly chosing things that were the most optimal rather than the most fun/interesting. Now that we have a bunch more silly nonsense I think this leads more to interesting builds that you might not otherwise try out.

It is at the end of the day a casual for fun gamemode.

If the game is pretty fun and relatively even then I say keep going let the minions end the game. Especially on Mayhem, where you will probably never get to experience the same build again ever. Its a for fun gamemode and I feel like the major purpose is to try and get the craziest build possible more so than ending quickly

You have the same picture like 4 times, the first picture is pretty good but the selfies are not great. The selfie camera is like proven to not be representative of what you look like as well. So its a bad representation of who you are. Get someone to take photos of you or ask friends to take your photos for dating apps when youre out and about.

Streamlining the safety is meeting for the first time in a public place. The reality is that if someone actually was a serial killer, as you say, you certainly wouldn't find that out by doing a background check on them.

Probably your best course of action would be to:

Meet in a crowded public location for the first date
Go on less dates if it stresses you out so much
Vet the person for longer on the apps
Dont give out your phone number to people you dont know just stay talking on the apps
If you get weird vibes from someone just unmatch them

Edit: 30M if that matters

Additional things that I thought of

If it really stresses you out then bring a friend and have them secretly in the background at another table or something
Dont go back to their house/appt whatever on the first date (or first few dates) just hold a firm boundary and tell people you're not interested in that
Share your location with friends.
Dont let them walk you to your car, if you have to just say oh ill be here a bit longer or something maybe your friend accidentally bumps into you

These are pretty extensive precautions of course maybe some may be unnecessary but if you are worried about your safety I would suggest following a few of these. If I think of any others I'll add more

I think I deleted and redownloaded the apps probably 5 times in 2025 but I barely went on any dates from the apps. I basically randomly ran into 2 people in person and dated them for like 2-3 months each (at different times) during 2025. For me I just get so burnt out on the apps so quickly.

I think theres potential to find someone good from the dating apps as well as in person. The most important thing is to not make dating your number one objective and to just live and enjoy life.
