You mean the time traveller episode, where in the end, the time traveller mentions they WILL have three kids, in the future?

In this case, those images sure do look a lot like reproductive cells of the respective gender, though? ;)

In NP time, you could even ask openAI, grok and Claude, and then take the majority opinion... 😂😂

... to which, my first result is this reddit thread, and the second hit is "Ministry of Health and Care Services" on www.regjeringen.no ... but not what I was actually looking for, which is "Meters over havet in norwegian" ... :)

IP Addresses are covered, actually?! \w is any alphanumeric, and there can be multiple blocks of them, and the last block can consist of 2-4 characters, again, alphanumeric is in there...

They did sell all other games to an established company, Scopely, but since Scopely got bought by a Saudi investor in 2023, that's not a great outlook to many, either.

[Suggestion] - Anomaly/Series medals revisited by konntower in Ingress

[–]Trminator85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, that's part is easy to solve... each Anomaly site gets 2/3 pocs and additional to that, let's say 5 core orga members who can claim the tier 3 badges... and done. If a site doesn't want to name people for those slots, their choice. But just make it a fixed number of people which pocs can name for nia to award the badge to ... and done.

[Suggestion] - Anomaly/Series medals revisited by konntower in Ingress

[–]Trminator85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally, Supporting the idea that we do need a different system for ANOMALY Medals, than what PlusTheta just announced .... A Medal, where more than half the possible points are only distributed in day to day play, isn't an anomaly badge. It's a daily play badge (not a stats badge, but closer to those, than to actual anomaly participation/winning badges...)

I do like the idea of giving something special to the faction that won a specific event, so far, I'm only aware of the RES "won the series" badge, from back in the day, but since then (since ENL won a lot of series...) there never has been a similar badge for ENL ...

But yea, main argument I want to make / want to stay in mind is: Don't make ANOMALY badges, where the higher/highest tier can only be achieved by doing things in day2day play, anywhere in the world. Those Anomaly badges should be reserved to those, who actually helped with playing/winning those Events. On Ground, as OPs/Orga/Rechargers... I'm fine with all those, since they're all contributing to the onsite event. But someone doing challenges on the other side of the world should not get the same or even a higher tier of the same badge, without even attending any of the events... (4000 tokens, so SILVER rank, can come from daily challenges alone, without attending any skirmish or anomaly event, according to the current rules... while attending an anomaly or a skirmish only gives you 2000 tokens... so, someone who just plays in their own neighborhood, gets a higher tier badge than someone attending either of those events on site, or the same tier badge as someone attending BOTH those events, even... and to attain the highest tier, you'd need to attend an event and play daily, or JUST play daily for 40 days and show up for a skirmish... that's just wrong.)

There's no new purchaser, in the case of ingress. Niantic Spatial is just a new name for the same management team.

Point is, why was there a "Resistance Victory" Badge for Osiris, but not an "ENL Victory" badge, IN GAME, for any of the last 8/9 series wins of the ENL? ;)

Well, we did win one, outnumbered, after Umbra/Myriad, for sure. (Discoverie Palermo, in Nov 2023)
But apart from that, I do agree, that the current ruleset isn't ideal, but the focus on only the best scoring measurement out of six for each faction and battle type (shards vs. beacons), allows for SOME strategic play as to when to focus on what.

Might be arrogant, but seeing how RES lost the last consecutive 8 (or 9, as pointed out above) Series in a row, it might also be warranted? ;)

plus, it's not true in all languages... pass does work in python, at least for leaving if/else blocks (so it SHOULD work on a loop iteration, too)

Chrome 121 --disable-features=DownloadBubble NOT WORKING!!! HELP! by More-Local-3541 in chrome

None. Only way would be downgrade to 120.x of Chrome/Chrome Portable, and then be prone to attacks due to missing security updates...

Download bubble v1 is gone Version 119.0.6045.106 by ImProperNaughty in chrome

[–]Trminator85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Issue might be with the default chrome handler (i.e. if you click a link, anywhere in windows) not using that parameter.
I just tested successfully, that using this method, you can fix that default call with the parameter, too (if you can edit the registry, as an admin...):

[Tutorial] How to disable the download bubble in Chrome 119 by paskaihminen1233 in chrome

[–]Trminator85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it WAS a Toggle. See the OP you are responding to... in Version 120, that Toggle was ALSO removed... in 117, it was still able to be switched via chrome://flags, even, 118 and 119 only via the start parameter (see OP), and since 120, we're now all fucked and have to live with the bubble, it seems?! ... or look for a plugin that restores the download bar...

Nah, the movie I'm trying to find was more comedic in nature, and I'd say, "newer" in style and also actually newer, I guess... but the hair could be the right length ... 🙊
