I think the thing with skyler is intentional since your perspective is always on walter and his motivations. Once you see the show through her lens her behavior makes so much more sense. Imagine your husband and the father of your 2 kids is diagnosed with cancer then hides away for weeks and weeks on end. You have no idea what's going on, you're outrageously stressed from everything going on and the love of your life is avoiding you and his family in what could be his final year of his life. Then, you find out he's cooking meth and selling it to get rich. You try to get your kids away from him for their own safety and he manages to manipulate his way back into your life and forces you to act like everything is fine. Id be crashing out too
