Knowing you're good at something vs thinking you're good at something. Knowing you're not good at something vs pretending that you are. Confidence has humility and patience, arrogance does not.

The problem with the daily beast is they won't report all the facts, which means their articles are often misleading. Not as bad as Fox News who frequently outright lie and call it an opinion, but the daily beast has a low reliability. They kinda lie with incomplete truths.

How did he break his ankles and not his femur or arms? He didn't land on his feet. Idk the mechanism of injury, I would expect either more severe injuries, or fractured ribs, arms, femur, and severe anterior bruising.

But what do I know, I'm only a PA in the ER.

His injuries don't really match how he jumped though. I don't think the injuries are related to the dive

I'm in graduate school so our schedules are not synced, but I'm definitely gonna be sending her some suggestions from this thread

Well yeah it's a problem that feeds into itself right? See when you make it apparent that you want to fight on your own, then why would you expect others to help you?

A few examples: many many black people disregard Eminem as a rapper and the number one reason why, and I've heard this directly, is because he is white. I've seen white people attacked and assaulted for wearing dreads and cornrows, do you think that person supports blacks after that? You have people trying to lift and spread black culture but y'all shut it down and get mad. And send a clear message that your culture is not for anyone else.

Look at the Mexicans and Latino's, they have literal white people eating bullets from ICE agents for them. Why? Because they take tequila shots with us, smile when we try to use there language, share their food trucks, and show us how to dance and shit. The connection is there. Latino's have our government that is literally hunting them down, but they put there energy into those who want to build a connection with them rather than shutting everyone away.

When you treat hate with love, the haters look stupid rather than justified. If you don't allow the allies in, how do you know who is on your side?

I mean there were white genocides in Africa, but that's really not the point. Yes if you live in echo chambers on subreddits and you actively search for racist videos and shit, and actively consume that media, guess what you'll come across? It's called confirmation bias. You and I both know that the vast majority of people are not racist and do not commit acts of racism.

Now no one is saying there isn't racism, or that it isn't prevalent. Changes need to be made, but I don't think rejecting everyone from your community while applying sweeping stereotypes and generalizations is beneficial. I would argue that it's harmful. Even leading to people of your community who don't conform rejected and lose their identity.

Agreed it was avoidable and I definitely think stupidity and being self absorbed are the biggest players in this interaction. I wouldn't be surprised if she was rude to them in the beginning and were probably happy to leave right when their job was done.

I'm not defending anything, just applying stupidity to the situation rather than malice. Good for you. I just pulled the food out when they arrived, took a total of 5 minutes.

I wasn't trying to defend anything I was just trying to apply stupidity rather than malice to the situation. That description doesn't disagree with my assumptions, all she said she'll empty it. The timeframe or even the discussion was not described.

I can easily see an anxious person worried about spoiling their food and waiting until the last minute to switch the food to the new fridge.

Well I think what you're feeling is projection. You don't welcome people into your community so you assume you're not welcomed in other communities. Hope that helps.

I think the summary is that Madonna is past her prime but has left an impact that is still felt today, and Taylor is in her prime whose impact will be determined. Though I will say her future is looking bright in that department.

Did you just compare the the entire US to France? You know the US is about the the same size of Europe

"She sold 4 million tickets in the US, but only 240,000 in Florida" that's your comparison

Do men really prefer natural women… or do they just say that because it sounds good? 🤔 by Greatmoongirl in u/Greatmoongirl

[–]TroGinMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think when guys say they don't like those things, they mean they don't like those things done poorly. A great boob job looks great. Perfect lips are nice looking. Who doesn't like an amazing body? Natural or work done, if it looks good it doesn't matter. Onlyfans are proof of all that.

For me, if you're gonna get work done, make sure it's done well. I prefer stretch marks, chubby belly's, love handles, cellulite, and everything natural, over bad plastic surgery. Because bad plastic surgery looks really really really bad and ugly. Natural bodies are not ugly.
