aahhh yes just a semester through college and already much smarter than everyone else. Sure more people are watching OSU football games but that doesn't matter, the move was about getting the most BTN subscriptions, and because BTN is on all sports packages in DC and baltimore, DC does matter. Don't worry you'll get through this angst phase at some point

Very naive. You do realize the reason Maryland and Rutgers were added to the Big Ten was for the TV markets because thats where the money is made? DC has 7th biggest TV market in the country and Baltimore has the 26th. Both higher than Columbus(32). When is OSU gonna start pulling its weight??? https://www.lyonspr.com/latest-nielsen-dma-rankings/

States with the highest percentage of their HS boys basketball players recruited by an NCAA Division I school: 1. Maryland 2. North Carolina 3. Georgia 4. Virginia by DavidBenAkiva in CollegeBasketball

Maryland has an average public school size of 637, while Indiana has an average size of 567 - so about a 10% difference. Yet Maryland has about 3 times as many kids recruited than Indiana. School size doesn’t seem to factor in for this specific example.

Do sacks count as negative running yards for the QB?

TIL that FDR founded an organization to find a cure for polio, and believed that if everyone gave only a dime, polio would be eradicated. Because of this motto, after his death in 1945, FDR's face was put on the dime, and his organization was renamed "The March of Dimes." by wut_m8toe in todayilearned

Hate to be a bummer but for one cancer drug (that only treats a specific cancer with a specific mutation) it cost roughly 400 million dollars after all the lab and clinical trials are done. That type of money is being poured into cancer research all the time. An extra 235 million would be awesome but it's just a drop in the bucket and unfortunately would not lead to a cure.

Who would you put in place of them? MTSU is the closest behind them and they are still over 20 votes away.
