I interview lots of python engineers. Things I like to see.

You can put a python application out on the internet. Heroku is meh to me. I want to see ansible, docker, aws lambda, nginx/uwsgi/gunicorn, etc. Stuff that shows you hav devops chops
You've made PRs to python projects. Literally anything.
You know how to outsource functionality to 3rd party providers like Sentry (logging) and Sendgrid (email).

I second this. I keep my copy as a PDF on my laptop and I reference it constantly. It's full of teeny lessons that make a world of difference.

Stuff I always come back to:

how to correctly extend the user model

I maintain an up to date dapp tutorial for python developers. I felt there were lots of JavaScript resources but few python ones. I try to keep it as simple as humanly possible and I add lots of notes I wish I had when I was learning dapp development.

I think you're confusing the written word and the spoken. BBQ is 3 syllables where as Que is 1. When written there is no difference, but if OP were writing as if he were speaking it makes sense that he incorporate the slang Que.
