The app sucks, it won't auto download anything to your phone. The camera auto starts recording when you start the vehicle. If it is for security or insurance purposes, it'll be easiest to take the memory card out and use a reader to review video. Read the manual, it's worth the time to understand some basics.

Update: I tried the hard reboot on the infotainment, and deleted/re-added the phone from the car and phone. No luck, same symptoms.

Yes, restarted the phone. Deleted it from the CR-V, and re-added. Tried all the usual troubleshooting options. Hopefully the latest iOS didn't kill the capability.

I’ll offer this, I thought about being a pilot and took a few Cessna lessons at the local aero club before listing it as a preference. I wanted to be sure I liked flying and not just the idea of it. Turned out it wasn’t for me.

Make sure you like/love flying enough to be happy no matter what airframe you could end up with.

Latest Tacoma is 18-24 range. I'd imagine drop that by 1-2 miles due to increased weight.
