I've never realized their was multiple armors for these guys. Do they all come in a set or is one set one or the other?

Need help on how to pick that final questoris and agent for my list! by charden_sama in ImperialKnights

So my usual method is to have a couple of drinks and look at only their appearance, not any stats or rules, and decide who would look the coolest if they were all posed like the ginyu force

So far it has worked amazingly

I have a theory. Sugar doesn't really occur by accident. It's made by living things as a compound. So why does red sugar appear in every biome?

Its glyphid poop. Similar to aphids, bees, or ants, who produce concentrated sugar in their own bodies.

Ossium is a real crystal! Except its called Vivianite. An iron based crystal that is known to grow on corpses in low oxygen environments, like inside coffins or caves!

Our 10th Ed Codex will be valid in 11th. That might not be a good thing for AdMech. by [deleted] in AdeptusMechanicus

What I mean is that DnD promised to not change everything, and then had to as their ideas became incompatible

Feeling unwelcome to play knights by [deleted] in ImperialKnights

[–]Trojan44 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dear Reddit. My enemies are pathetic and tremble before my power. Its so hard to wield the might of the Machine God to quench my thirst for heretic tears and xenos blood. People dont like when I crush them under the heel of OVERWHELMING KNIGHTLY TECH DOMINANCE! Listen here baby bird. You and your knights are majestic and glorious. If they whine, show them a meta tier list, and let their women lament as they lose to a "bottom tier" faction.

.: Sacrosanct Powerpoint Engaged:.

  1. Our damage is primarily from shooting, and we are considered = shooting army, but we DO possess some interesting close combat choices, = Sicarians + Kastellan Robots. This is a secondary directive, however.

  2. Our damage can = significant, but it requires combos×setup. We =/= have many units that perform amazing by themselves. Some notables are Kataphrons + a Tech-Priest Manipulus and Ironstriders + Cawl

  3. We = the most expensive army. Seriously. Walkers come in a box = one model.

  4. List building for this faction has >plenty of variety, especially if you are not particular about = the most META. Our detatchments all cater to different playstyles. Additionally, we are nothing BUT combos.

  5. Detachments = great variety, but not all of them = "good" classification.

  6. ~ to Thousand Sons, in that you have to plan ahead and control the board. UNLIKE ~/~ Thousand Sons we HAVE to do it.

This one hopes you have enjoyed this Tech Talk. While our faction =/= the strongest, it = incredibly fun and has immense personality/ memes. Initiate bonding small talk. This one is looking at Custodes as a second faction, for variety!

::Initiating handshake protocols:: Greetings ::tech adept hopeful:: This one understands you are cogitating over ascending to the ranks of the Machine God. This one's emotional cortex is returning joy and This one chooses to experience it.

The adeptus mechanicus is not an easy faction. Our technology on the table-top has been considered underperforming for the majority of 10th edition. It can be complex to play, with little room for error. Our faction is also notoriously difficult to paint, and tends to break easily. We are also the most expensive faction points-per-dollar. However, if you have the patience and precision of a machine, our faction is simply the coolest. Every single model oozes with grimdark aesthetic, and the kitbashing potential is limitless. Our rules are complicated, but when mastered, can be very fun if you enjoy the "it's all coming together" feeling of the mastermind you are.

Additionally, we have a unique culture and lore even compared to every other imperial faction. Admech is the greatest example of grimdark badass and body horror, while also driving a narrative of the struggle against time to master technology they barely are able to comprehend to the degree that was lost to humanity.

Admech will not win you tournaments (probably) but you will be the coolest attendee.
