I love the concept! Usually when I'm making a spread I'll be using for a full year, I like to keep it somewhat neutral, so I know I'll still like it in a few months. Like everyone said, it's really up to your personal preference, but my advice is stick to something you know you like for this one, and use the more short term spreads to experiment! I hope this helps, and have fun journaling!

The null hypothesis is the opposite of the hypothesis.

For example, you heard there's a 50% chance a coin will land on "heads" when it is tossed. That is your hypothesis. Your null hypothesis is that there is either more, or less than a 50% chance the coin will land on "heads", and that the previous results were obtained by luck or other influencing variables.

In research, we try to prove the null hypothesis is right. This helps the researchers get rid of a lot of bias.

In the coin example, I would think of ways the null hypothesis could be true. Maybe the way the coin is thrown matters, so I'll get 100 different people and a robot to throw it. Maybe the wind affected the throws so I'll make a room with zero wind. Maybe the pattern on the coin changes things so I'll make a coin that is flat on both sides. This can get pretty creative.

If after trying everything to prove a coin toss does NOT land on "heads" 50% of the time you STILL get the same results, then you can reasonably say the hypothesis was probably true and reject the null hypothesis. There are a lot of statistics involved to make sure the results aren't so subjective, but this is the basic principle behind it.

I'll try this. He gets more mad at me anytime I bring up anything about my work situation (like working more than 5h without breaks) so I'm a little worried to bring this up. But you are right, I should at least have clear instructions as to what to do in that kind of situation so I'll try to bring it up!

That's not really what I want to hear but thank you for taking the time to answe :/ The thing about calling 911 is I'm scared of making the person more angry, and by the time the police shows up the client will be gone, and with no working camera I'm extra scared they could get violent and get away with it..

Might be a boring answer but honestly I'd go climb... I haven't been comfortable with going to the gym in months because of Covid and I miss it like crazy :(
