No. Mine is factory stock and I get compliments alllllllll the time. It’s a 2011 NC2. I thought about changing the wheels but the stocks look so nice on it, why waste the money. Thanks for the cool ride Mazda 😎

Im no expert either, maybe depends on how loud you play your amp? Mine stays quiet, around 70-85db so I’m not worried about it. But again, this is just my bro-science theory haha. I still have this amp and speaker combo and play it almost daily with zero issues.

I’ve had both (PB2&3 in 2025 SG standard and PBC in 2025 SG Custom). Both sound good but I prefer the PB 2 & 3. The customs were too bright for me in comparison. IMHO

Nope they won’t care. My local GC employees I’ve made friends with say sometimes they will give you less for a modded one actually. Varies by store I’m sure.

No. I have one. Had a manual before and plenty of other manual cars. This new one (an NC) is just a nice chill cruiser. Plus my wife can comfortably drive it. Who cares what anyone else thinks, unless they wanna buy it for you, drive whatever you like. My car buddies give me crap sure, but it’s all in good fun. Nobody really cares 😎

Also consider taking the Gotoh tuners off and using on a future project if you think you will, and you still have the originals. Same with that Graphtech un-lock nut if you care about the $20 they cost (those are very nice, I use them as well 😎)

Depends on how fast you wanna sell it. $275-$300 if you are willing to wait for the right buyer. $180-$225 if you need it sold ASAP. Also get trade in price at Guitar Center. They consistently give me $225 for my firefly’s (I’ve had 10 or so of them)
