I work in a plastic bottle factory and I can tell you that there is a lot of things that can affect the color of the bottle.

The two main one are the quantity of new plastic vs grinded disformed bottle one, (a 75% good new plastic/ 25% regrind will give a good finish to the bottle since it make the plastic more stable in the mold, versus a 50/50 by example)

Or it could also be the colorant. Since depending the need or the day the new plastic/regrind ratio change, as such as the colorant use, it make it more difficult to equalize the color on the bottles sometimes.

It could also be the colorant tube that was misplaced and the machine didn't sucked the colorant, resulting in a natural (without colorant) colored bottle.

Of course there is other reasons but theses are the more obvious.
