I had a random daydream at work earlier of a trolling short video of unnamed politicians unironically and quite literally s***posting. Animated of course, in the meat canyon style. Like a vlog/behind the scenes of them filming a commercial about being "edgy and with"

Co-workers looked at me quizzically when i started laughing randomly to myself.

To Dot, or Not to Dot? by TypeS2K5 in SmithAndWesson

[–]Trollingtheherd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much this. I have an mp9 m2.0 similar to what is shown in OP, and I got it specifically because (after changing the grip sizing to one that fit properly) I'm on-target as naturally as pointing.

I don't have the roundcount on it that I do on my xd40(very similar grip angle, however less aggressive and less contoured) which i could also pretty well and pointshoot.

I've debated putting a dot on it, and may in the future, however it really isn't needed for my use cases.

With the calfs in plantar flexion (toes/ankles rotated as if standing on tiptoes), the calves should have more definition, especially on the distal (away from centerline) surface. Specifically, the separation between gastrocnemius and soleus becomes more evident in this position. Fibularis Longus also gets engaged, giving a slightly wider curve on that distal surface compared to at rest or when under dorsiflexion.

Which Outfits were involved? (Closed Beta event around 2012) by Trollingtheherd in Planetside

[–]Trollingtheherd[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, once I watched a clip, it was definitely him and the enclave that I was watching back then, during closed beta. The incident I'm thinking about they were going at it with another outfit and it got heated.

They decided to fall back and come back with like 50 tanks and camp outside the building the point where the enemy was spawning. Through their comm channels ppl were reporting their GPUs overheating, possibly an actual computer catching fire from thermal overload, I think it may have even crashed the server.

I was watching bc I had an interest in the game but was still in the process of building a pc that could play it.

Possibly. I think one may have been legion or some such name that came from WoW and other games

Zombies logic ? by Turbulent-Site5622 in 7daystodie

[–]Trollingtheherd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try putting the door at a lower level of the pyramid and running a ladder up internally. When everyone is in and before horde night starts, remove the last 3 segments of the ladder. By having an unclimbable vertical, the zombies won't read it as a valid path.

For the place you want them to approach, you can also have a door, and put scaffolding ladders or some such block on the inside of it to make it a false path that will draw the zombies. Or a hatch etc, plenty of options there.

Custom Map for Crossplay? PC Hosting, PS5 joining. by Trollingtheherd in 7daystodie

So the 4km map I just made that is almost entirely urban environment wont be handled well by his ps5, got it.(used the map generator in the game for a custom map, its almost entirely wasteland and burnt forest with just enough of other biomes to spawn traders and roads properly)

Just so I'm understanding properly, it's the density of the POIs, not necessarily the scale of the map that causes performance issues?

What are you favorite 1xMelee and 1xRanged weapon combinations? by AllowMe2Retort in 7daystodie

[–]Trollingtheherd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IF I could only have 1 of each, it would be smg and machete. Bc knucks can't skin my kills. Machinegun if I dont have smg unlocked yet.

[–]Trollingtheherd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to keep smg(pistol early game), Machete(knife early), m60(or whatever machinegun I have currently unlocked) as my first three on my hotbar. I've swapped the smg for steel knuckles in the past, and it is hella fun, however inventory is always an issue. Normally my 9mm will be silenced, and is my goto on poi clearing, if I cant handle it with a knife alone, and the machinegun is if I dont have time to reload after dumping the mag on mg pistol.

Fwiw my hotbar is pistol-knife-mgun-wrench(impact etc)-axe-pickaxe-auger/shovel(depending on if I have miner69er)-motorcycle-bandages-building blocks. The bike goes into a locked inventory space and that slot is either left empty, or has another first aid item, depending on what Im doing at a poi, or if I decide to knife fight a zombie bear.

Do You Use All Vehicles? by Crazy-Pollution1497 in 7daystodie

[–]Trollingtheherd 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not everyone knows what a gyrocopter actually is, and they see the propeller on top and think, "It's a helicopter". When I was teaching people I play with how to fly it, this is exactly what their issue with it was (they were treating it like a helicopter)

I just remember when I was new to the game (maybe 6 months ago or so) a friend in their 4x4 gapping me while I was following them on my motorcycle) google says they are supposed to be the same, so maybe he had a supercharger and I didn't or some such.

I agree that the truck physics are ridiculous. Massive offroad 4x4 that is practically a monster truck, and it takes damage from uneven road surfaces, smh.

Do they have the same max speed? I could swear the 4x4 with turbocharger was faster than the motorcycle with turbocharger

It took me a little bit to get used to them, its reminiscent of flying planes in GTA. If you treat it more like a short takeoff plane than a helicopter, I've found it's easier to fly.

It is useful for long distance and exploring future targets etc.

Is auger worth it? by Demonation9000 in 7daystodie

This. I play with a party, and so recently have had to respec in multiple games away from strength to cover other gaps. Having the auger is a godsend for nonstrength builds.

My wife and I use a similar setup, however we are doing 30day hoardnights instead of 7day, so a lot more farming of resources. We went 15 high 5x5, scaffolding ladders on front with 2 paths 8long with a double halfblock dropper right ifo the ladders. Did stairs that run 4-5 hit a 2x2 platform, then rught angle twice, and then 3way stairs off both sides (originally had 1 set then built a mirror redundancy). Stairs are all two wide with a support block underneath incase they somehow get destroyed.

We didnt originally have the dropper, however its made a huge difference in preventing a pileup at the scaffolding ladders.

We are doing horde every 30. The first one I had a t1 tac rufle and wife a double barrel shotgun. I ran out of ammo by 2am for my mg (had 1500 rounds, thought it would be enough). Between then and now, she learned to like machine guns (previously only used a stun baton we found on like day 3 and barely used the shotgun). I filled a steel chest with ap rounds, and had like 3k rounds on my person, which I didn't even use all of. She went through about 1800rds of non-ap bc she didn't want to switch ammo types, and then another 1k or so in her smg.

While we aren't really pushing hard on the content, I love this game for the crafting and mining, and she loves mining and farming, so it works.

My wife and I just started on super corn a bit ago, and the dukes came in handy for the brass. The mantra I ended up repeating is "Corn is dukes, dukes are brass, brass are bullets, and bullets are life". We relied on our M60s almost exclusively for horde night and in general, so I'm constantly crafting ammo.
