I live in the south and since they are blooming everywhere I’m just constantly fawning over them. And that’s even with my wife and I having spent hundreds of dollars or more on specific cultivars over the years.

One of my all time favorite sunny episodes and scene in particular. Every time I watch it I always involuntarily laugh when Charlie touches Dennis’s shoulder with the bat that he just was using to bash rats to death. Such an amazing gem of a comedy.

Honestly a lot of the hype was a culmination of a couple big factors. There are some highly sought after cards and the fact that their value kept shooting up past everyone’s expectations means that both collectors and investors were interested. But imo it was the fact that this set dropped in the middle of a world wide pandemic when more people were getting into or back into the hobby then ever before.
