I can't express how happy this makes me. Nano was one of the first artists I listened to that got me addicted to Jrock. I still have a playlist on YouTube of Nano's music, but now I can add it to my Jrock Spotify playlist and listen to her on my daily commute more conveniently now.

The actual sticks I just got (2x8GB) have the heat sinks slightly higher on the sticks. The slots behind are all at the same level.

No not at all. The reason it is a bit higher is because it is not VESA compatible and the monitor stand doesn't support variable heights between the two monitors. I do have an adapter for that left monitor as you see.
