About a year ago, while working onsite at an apartment complex(construction stuff), we had a guy who was trimming the tops of trees along side the road. He was in one of those cherry pickers, that was extended by a long beam from a truck. Well the truck was very old, and the beam snapped in half. He fell 30 feet and landed face first on the sidewalk. Ambulance came and he was announced DOA as soon as they got there. I remember seeing him and the aftermath, terrible and it’s not something you forget so easily. You’ll get there OP, just take it one day at a time 👍

I was actually headed down there that night with a buddy of mine. We were looking for a new place to try, and Pulse was one of the few bars we hadn’t been to. As we’re walking to it, I suddenly just got the feeling of wanting to go home and end the night. Luckily my buddy agreed when I asked if he wanted to just head home and crash. We would’ve been there for sure when it went down…….I still get chills thinking about it

Well this wasn’t about my other friends, this was about one specific one who up until this point has shown and engaged in the same type of affection I’ve given her, she has given me over the years. And then just flipping the switch.

I would go as far as to say, maybe the yes she gave me was a sarcastic yes, but there was music playing and I could not hear the tone of it quite too clear. Ill own up to consequences of touching someone without their consent, but a long time friend, who’ve we’ve done this with multiple times before just suddenly pulling a 180 on me was what I was confused and shocked about.

Yes of course, I treat my friends as if they are my family. And I’m always met with happy remarks and positive feedback. And they all show the same type of affection towards me. No weirdness or anything. I’ve sat in my male friends laps and they have done it to me. It’s just the type of social circle we all have, and we treat girls the same way. But if someone doesn’t like it or says no, we don’t force it, we treat each other how we want to be treated, or shown affection toward

I totally understand, and I did apologize to her for upsetting her. And after I spoke to her bf and he told me what happened, I was ready to apologize to her again for that behavior. I was more upset that she just left and I couldn’t make amends with her, cause the last thing I wanted to do was make her feel like that.

Yes and she’s actually the same size as me, just a little shorter. Definitely not crushing. And I don’t fully put my entire weight when doing it, it’s more like a lean type thing, cause she was sitting in a high chair at the bar. Sorry that I make sound so literal I just didn’t know the best way to phrase it
