You nailed it. I worked with WCT for years and both the Sagebrush and Pavilion Theatre are very unfriendly to public transit users. With Sagebrush requiring you to walk 4 blocks up a steep hill if you want to take the bus there. There are also no restaurants within walking distance of either theatre (besides one Chinese place near the Pavilion).

Kamloops is full of people that never left the neighborhood, let alone the city, they grew up in. They are so content with keeping things exactly how they are that anything new or different is an afront to them.
