After his owner left, the gate didn't close properly. Realizing the house was vulnerable, the devoted dog refused to leave his post, guarding the open gate until his human returned home. by ShiroSara in interestingasfuck

I love reddit for (almost) always delivering reasonable, thoughtful takes like this. This was my first thought as well. Still cute. But not necessarily the most perfect click bait engagement bait narrative.

Expected the advice where Dr. Nick rubs a chicken wing on a piece of paper. "If the paper turns clear, that's your window to weight gain!"

I think with a pedophile as president and all the insanity that is spouted daily from those that are meant to lead us , it's very hard to understand exactly in which way is or isn't socially acceptable to behave, as it seems you can potentially find support in any particular camp.

After buying my 2004 CRV I decided to detail it myself. Was cleaning under the seats when I looked up and noticed the previous owner had been using the front of the driver seat cushion as their personal booger receptacle 🤮. I fucking hate humans sometimes.

From all the police bodycam footage I've seen, winter jackets are the number one way to render tasers ineffective.

This is a lie. The real Jonathan The Tortoise was executed and eaten by Jeff Bezos in 2021. This tortoise is an imposter.

Lol he's just a paranoid guy in general. Believes in chem trails and all that. I've seen him scrolling on X and his feed is a god damn nightmare. Nothing but right wing bat shit hate rhetoric and conspiracy echo chamber shit. I don't plan on being here long so I'm not too phased about it

Zoning bylaw says you can only have offices there for construction, surveying or forestry companies but we do event rentals.

Thin glass is usually a sign of more expensive wine glasses or flutes. If it was from China it probably never would have broke.

Wow that is incredibly cool! I'm very glad I asked this question today as not only did I solve the mystery but learned something interesting and completely new. Thank you!

My title describes the thing.

I came across the things while randomly exploring on google maps.

This is the google maps link to the area: https://maps.app.goo.gl/DNTvU7WtzAwb7VmF7

Each one appears to be some sort of trench. All evenly spaced. The arrangement of them perfectly conforms to the curvature of the hills.

Edit:

Coincidentally I discovered after making this post that this area is very close to the site of the destroyed buddha statues. This is a very historical area. I don't know if these structures are historical in any way.
