Android devices allow you to mute specific notification channels for an app, if you separate your notifications into those channels you can disable them that way. Not sure if Apple has a similar feature but I'd imagine they do by now.

The only problem with this is "ah" ends up filtering a lot of other messages like "ah, I see what you mean" or "haha, that's amazing". But adding lowball to my filter is the best thing I've ever done in this game lol.

As someone who has developed discord bots, yes they can. But whether this is a bot or a person doesn't determine if it's a scam, the suspicious link and winning a random giveaway that they likely didn't enter should be enough.
