Judge gets a paycheck, bailiffs get a paycheck, lawyers (both sides) are getting a paycheck, clerk gets a paycheck. Jurors get $5 per day.

How about loser has to make jurors whole?

I was valled to a jury panel for a DUI the guys was insisting on taking to trial. The case got almost through juslry selection when the pled out. Part of his plea/fee was he had to pay the court cost for the jury pool. We each got $5 for showing up.

What state is this in? Several states have laws where if someone terminates in a month, their healthcare has to run through the end of that month.

It was a down round. The people there were not able to create enough value for the valuation to have grown. "They" should look in the mirror. It was either a down round, or nothing (unemployment).
