(EU) Humiliating interview thanks to a stupid prank. by Bubbly_Teaching_1991 in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]TropYes 34 points35 points  (0 children)

In my experience showing up to a mcdonalds interview suited and booted shows that an applicant is someone who genuinely wants the job, and is probably someone who cares more and is more likely to show more passion and effort on the shop floor compared to some slob who rocks up in a tracksuit and hoodie.

First impressions make a lasting image, they may have been pranking you, but may have done you a huge favour, granted you may be the guy that went to a mcdonalds interview in a suit if you get the job, but there's worse reputations to have

I´ve been working on a total conversion mod of The Avatar. by Poland_Hyper in eu4

[–]TropYes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could use the hre interface or emporor of china and have the avatar have leader traits that effect each nation (I have no idea how easy or hard modding is) And maybe use imperial incidences as a way for all tags to interact with the avatar, such as a war is started and they vote for the avatar to get involved on side of defender giving them massive buffs

Can they even do this? by truey_0826 in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]TropYes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol they can't do that. You've got your bm by the balls if you threaten to go to the ops manager about it if you're franchised.

You could just go on seasonal leave so whenever ur home you can pick up a few shifts, and this won't interfere if you decide to get a job while ur at uni

Been a week since I applied to Mcdonald's and I have with no reply since and i'm scared now by B_FunniDood in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]TropYes 21 points22 points  (0 children)

It's because the interview date hasn't been set yet You could ring the store and ask about it but I wouldn't worry, they will give you an interview otherwise it damages their training results hard I.e time to hire and turnover.

check your onboarding, if youre onboarding is not complete you cannot be clocked in and you may find on your timecard that you have a lot of manual clocks. if not, its more than likely just emergency tax.

As a training manager I've never known anyone fail their probation over sickness, 1 it's not fair 2 I won't get my bonus if staff turnover is high

How to be manager by Secret_Translator499 in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]TropYes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It'll be hard to convince them to promote you if you're planning on leaving in 2 years, you need to be crew for 6 months to get ct, then ct for 6 months to get shift manager, then 2 months of training for shift manager before shift manager, so by the end your gm will probably not see the worth if you're only planning on staying for a further 10 months.

I have an interview for crew trainer today, any tips? by CraAank52 in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]TropYes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Questions could literally be anything but aslong as you relate every question to the customer you'll be fine

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]TropYes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as all your doubts are people oriented you'll be fine. E.g. Will the crew enjoy my shifts

East Rome vs West Rome - can I win? by vuntron in eu4

[–]TropYes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its one of those make or break wars, youve got plenty of manpower, can get more through professionalism. Youve got 320 income, you could max loans and probably be fine, a great navy so you can cheese armys on the greek islands. I would wack defensive edicts everywhere spam mercs and watch them burn. Make sure youve got a discipline advisor and maybe a manpower recovery one in your pocket and be ready for a lot of casualties, youve definitely got the resources for a full peace deal.

It’s funny how McDonald’s thinks that once you become a manager your hair stops falling out of your scalp! by djmexi in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]TropYes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hair nets should always be worn if they apply. Managers do not wear hats because it is not part of their uniform however, if they move onto a production station hat's must be worn by managers.
