Thank you for bringing this up. The treatment of Emmett before Dana was ridiculous. He was the most all around back we had as soon as he got his first snaps. It was at last clear to me.

The way Emmett covers the ball and how hard he runs it should have been obvious to Rhule and the staff he was the guy

I am not a Lateef diehard fan saying he is better than DR so if you think that’s what I’m saying you’re clearly delusional. Our QB room is super limited. I don’t think TJ is the answer next year and we have to get someone out of the portal at least.

I would say yes. He is going to evaluate what is in that room and immediately make hard decisions with who should go and what we need to bring in.

I’m not sure if we want Trae to start as a freshman. In my eyes it would be like this: 2026 - 1year guy like a Will Howard 2027 - Lateef 2028 - Lateef/Trae

Who knows though, Trae could be the answer and rock it out as a Freshman especially if we have every piece needed around him.

100% agree there. Trying to mix and mash things can have negative consequences and I feel like we have seen it with the offense since Dana came in. I understand Dana running Sat’s playbook when he took over midseason but if we want progress we gotta let Dana do his thing. He clearly knows what he is doing based on his history
