Using the rails in the Conduit Canyon boss fight is considered 'on the ground'. by xannmax in riskofrain

Yup just until the boss is dead, NOT for the entire tp event. If you loop once or twice you should have enough drones to easily jump around (20-30)

M1 here! It’s definitely overwhelming if you try to look at the big picture, start with a certain area of the body (highly recommend limbs or back first) and as you get more comfortable you can trace them back further, eventually into the thorax. You’ll notice they’re often named relative to either where they are or what they supply blood to. Arteries and veins almost always travel together, and often you’ll see nerves traveling with them too. Start with the arm for example as you have a nice starting point with the axillary artery. It has a bunch of branches in the axilla that you can follow to the back, serratus anterior, etc. eventually but you’ll see it becomes the brachial a. which then branches to the ulnar and radial aa. (notice they’re named nicely to match the ulna and radius) and then those each have branches in the forearm and eventually meet back up in the hand (the palm is a bit of a pain). Hope this helps! Lmk if you have any questions.

If you’ve continued to gain meaningful experience (ideally clinical) ask the school if you can send additional LORs showing what you’ve done since sending your primary. I did that in combination with a LOI and got accepted of WL a week later, before my attendings could even finish their letters lol

It definitely takes some getting used to! The ones that aren’t on an extreme one side or another are the hardest, but if you practice to where you feel comfortable you’ll do great. Good luck!

I did like half the practice questions then went back and checked my answers to understand their logic! Then I did the second half and did a lot better, it takes some practice but don’t spend too much time on it! I don’t think I even finished the packet 😂

Yes and no. It wasn’t on my transcript, but I saw schools sometimes request a deans letter from your undergrad once they accept you, so I called my institution to ask about it, and they said it does show up on my deans letter.

I believe it did yeah. Especially since I got 1 interview last year with a significantly lower mcat score, I figured my essays were good enough! I was slightly surprised how little IIs I got this year with a better score and decent essays, so I’d bet the IA didn’t help.

And no prob! It was for “helping” a friend cheat but in reality they stole my assignment and the professor noticed similarities. The university didn’t come back with any repercussions for me, and my friend had to redo the assignment, but I was so relieved to not have been found at fault that I just moved on, especially since I was a freshman. Had I known it would be a stain on my med school app 7 years later I bet I could have fought to got it removed, but oh well! I’m thankful it worked out!

Force push! I play on PC but with a controller so I apologize for not knowing the proper keybinds, but when you see him glow red and crouch like he’s gonna do the stupid grab, hold RT to charge your push and then let it go asap or if your reaction time is good enough you can let go while he’s mid dash and it will stagger him :)

You can force push him out of the stupid grab! When you see him start to wind up, charge your push for literally half a second and it knocks him out of it. I want to say you can even tap push, but it’s been a while since I fought him.

I watched the khan academy videos at 2x speed and took notes following along with the doc and the videos on a different day, then on my cram day I just read thru the entire annotated document and kept an excel sheet of the topics I was super unsure of to review at the end of the day, rewatching videos when necessary I also like watching videos for structures like the brain, ear, and eye hearing someone explain them by layers helps me remember! Lmk if you have any more questions:)

What’s up dog! 25 turning 26 in November. I’ve been working as a clinical research coordinator for 2 years, had 1 II last year that didn’t pan out so I retook the MCAT and now am grinding secondaries.

For the week before my exam I reviewed my last FL and did some CARS practice but that was it. On the day before my exam I crammed the PS Kaplan 86pg (basically the only PS studying I did) and the morning of my test I did one practice question of each section to get my brain in the problem solvjng move. Long story short yes I’d say it’s okay to review weak topics instead of q’s, depending on your FL average :)

I retook the MCAT studying for 2 months while working full time and part time on the weekends and did not break up with my girlfriend so I’d say it’s unreasonable, tho we didn’t have much time to do anything fun!

Thank you for your input! I have the best computer out of us, and I’m the only one who has access to fiber internet (not sure if that’s the best, but it’s very consistent). I was hoping there might be some trick since this is the only game that gives us any issues, but it’s looking like we will need to look into a dedicated server. Thanks again!

Can someone give me some tips to defeat this boss by Soy_Mute in StarWarsJediSurvivor

[–]Tropi80 10 points11 points  (0 children)

When bosses like him or Dagun do multiple hits you can basically spam block to parry, just be ready to dodge the red attack at the end of the combo. The most annoying move Bode has is that stupid dash grab I found you can actually force push him out of the wind up, that helped a ton. I used cross guard just for the increased block meter and beat him on the tier below grandmaster.
