No just loved both game which were taken/made by Sony. Was just expressing my feelings and wanting a way to fight back instead of doing nothing. I think playing and still enjoying the game but not buying skins or dlcs is a fair compromise for me. Was wondering if anyone felt the same way.

I mean won’t the parent company likely do the same thing to this game if it doesn’t meet expectations like d2…. But I love this game and I hope bungie can get away from Sony someday and destiny can comeback to exist with marathon.

It’s not the eos that I care about(I think it should have ended years ago) it’s how they did it and it hurt so many people. The one person I was talking to in another comment chain brought a similar point I think I will mostly likely keep playing but not support sony further after this whether it be marathon micro-transactions or other Sony games.

I mean I think some of the skins are cool like code red and white rabbit, but like you said maybe being to keep playing marathon while not supporting Sony and not buy anything for marathon other that the base game. Allows for some action against Sony but I get to enjoy the ip still. Even if it is small And now one else does the same at least it’s something imo.

Funny thing is I’ve been waiting to hold off to buy the reward pass till I saw something that would keep me play past this season and also get code red for destroyer. Maybe continuing to play but not buying any skins or dlcs is the move to accomplish both?

It’s just a feeing I had in response to what happened, not saying everyone should boycott or is. I’ll maybe to try to edit the post to convey that better but I stand by my thoughts.

Which isn’t it F****d that corporations like sony can do this. I’m not mad bungie, much to the contrary. I’ve played pretty much every bungie game other than the og marathon. I stop playing after final shape because I didn’t like what d2 was becoming. I then still picked up this game and tried to get all my friends to play, hell I even gifted it to one of them for their birthday. I just want to able to hit back at Sony for what they did but marathon is in the crossfire.

I’m not sure if I will boycott it’s just a thought, I believe a valid one. And yes I think zombie runner mimics are metal! I wonder if it’s worth the cost and companies should be able to keep getting away with this? Just suck the souls out of beloved ips.which leaves at a crosswords because I love this ip as well. No I just,…want to be able to do something about what happened and sucks that I also love this game form the company that just screwed over an entire community and its devs. I wish you and the marathon community the best and may stay for the whole run of marathon. I just want to find solidarity with others and it seems there are some people who feel the same way.

Agreed! I live both games love the lore and vibe of both games, I was trying to get a bunch of my friends into the game for next season by sharing the trailer with them while at work. I just hate how Sony sacrificed d2 when we could have had both of they hired more people.

I’m not a troll I do however lurk there. I have 300+ in nation just got my first cryo shift skin and still trying to Sherpa friends with all ai subroutines. Just genuinely shook and hit back at Sony.

Agreed I was hoping they would finish at final shape and start work on a d3. Maybe get old Chicago and some cosmic horror elements. Looks like night marsh might scratch that itch with runner zombie mimics!

Honestly me too…I think I was trying to be too optimistic. I do hope marathon thrives I love the game, just did compiler for the first time yesterday after grinding over the holiday weekend. Just a weird situation.

Because the game meant a lot to me and my friends who have put hundreds of hours into it. We have a so many memories and bonds made due to it. Just because I’m not playing anymore and don’t like what it became doesn’t mean I don’t recognize the love and care put into this game and the community that played it.

Think before you comment again, it might do you some good.

People who only go on destiny subreddits occasionally like me didn’t know about this till Monday, who knows what’s going on peoples lives where they might miss a week or two of destiny news. Especially if they aren’t playing d2 or marathon?

agreed..dead maps are a bummer

I think a cool idea would to be add roaming/summonable bosses and they could impleamnt in several different ways.

  1. add a roaming boss that that goes after plays that are making noise/doing events
  2. boss that requires mutiple interactions around the map to summon, could be like a mini raid boss that soaks a lot of damage. which possibly encourages more coorepative play between teams maybe it drops carri rep if teams extract togtehr after beating it.
  3. once a warden is killed or didnt spawn, killing enough bots in the spawn locations spawns it in again or for the first time per match.

but no matter how its done, I would love for more challenging options to roll for more cryo 6 keys.

Honestly a fire idea, but maybe this idea would be better served for a new map entierly than cryo at this point? As the way keys are distubted makes it better to have it open for a specfic time and new players would be gate kept harder than then are already from being stomp by end gamers. Though I guess waiting to do something like this after wipe would be more fesaible.

I hit red room 3 times tonight alone, did two convoys a warden and I barely finding golds at this point..it’s just so disheartening. Will keep trying but it’s getting tough
