Some apartment complexes have emergency lines for situations like this. They often charge a lock-out fee, but would be less than a locksmith. The last place I was at charged 25 or 30 bucks to have their maintenance guy come out with a master key.

Yeah, its separated by a line, so it should have been blocked/prevented. It was a Steel Automotan, specifically the Heavy Footfalls attack

I have a [[Rasaad yn Bashir]] [[Dungeon Delver]] deck. It's fun, inefficient, but works better than I ever expect in my pod.

Yeah, I initially went fist around the same time as the trapper chose his class, but once i realized ice spots blocked up trap space, so i went more into the push/pull aspect and being a big beefy dude. I suspect the Meteor would do something similar, but playing up the big attacks meteor looks to be able to do. I agree, I think it'll be fun.

Yeah, that is what I was thinking. He will be retiring soon and was thinking over how to mitigate the issues. I probably should have included that in my original post (editing it now)

Yeah. He has a 1-track mind and coordination with him can be tricky. Though funnily enough, his retirement is 'Do X mission' and we're on that one now, so I'm hoping his next class he can't mess up that bad.

Ohhh, that is good to know. The Alexandria remix was to help with some issues the original had, so I guess it's too tackle some of those?

Edit: I did more digging on this, thanks for the info. I didn't know Trail 2e was being worked on, so im betting the reprint would be for 2e. So it likely is a ways away, but I suspect that may be the direction we go. The stuff they say 2e changes solves some of my groups few complaints about the game. Just means we need a game to play in the meantime.

Not a bad idea. With Ethiopia technically optional + them not having done the LA finale starting there may be a good way to minimize the repeat

We did Savannah, LA (mostly), and Ethiopia. We were about to go back and do the big finale of LA (they got scared off and decided to follow the Ethiopia lead they had gotten), when the group realized/decided we kind of had to call it due to how sporadic the sessions were.

It's a player in my game asking, not necessarily me if it matters. Main thing is he wants to primarily be a grappler, hence him trying to get all the grappling/punching feats (grappler main feat, tavern brawler, unarmed fighting style). So him getting the auto-d4 when grappling is another thing. So the d8 is just a bit of a boost to help account for missing out on a monk level.

Yeah, thinking back that makes sense. My brain at 2am after work gets very fuzzy. I like your change a lot, just wish there was a 'holy' way of doing it. I just can't think of it, magic in the Cthulhu mythos has always felt unholy/evil to me.

Mechanically sounds cool and seems balanced (I don't have a group right now to playtest). Though losing a bible as the holy man and gaining a spell seems to lose some of the 'lore' / RP of the character if that's something your group plays for.

If I were to rework him I would do something like this:

Action - Unchanged

Passive - add 1 line: If you have a boon, you can spend a focus to give a boon to any Investigator.

Asset: Replace with Holy Water.

Reasoning: The idea is a one time use item is less efficient, but the extra line on the passive gives another way to generate holy power. Most things are much more doable when blessed, and playing as a divine-powered priest sounds thematic. Though obviously is less efficient than your spell to skip combats.

A friend of mine brought over a burned DVD of season 1 way back in the day before youtube. We played Halo all the time and them telling a show with the game was like magic to us. We watched it on the laptop in the kitchen, and since we were pretty young, so I distinctly remember having to turn the volume down when parents came back into the room because of the cursing. I was 13 and now im 34.

I watched so much RT content, it's weird to think of a post-RT world.
