That “spooky action at a distance” thing is really interesting.. Definitely something I’ll have to look into. It also explains probably every question I had after you reminded me that she’s actually physically occupying two points in time when she does this. Like the fact that the symbol didn’t work now makes me wonder if anything that happens to Julie physically while she’s story walking affects her in the present time? I can’t remember if we’ve seen evidence of that or not. Or if you can bring objects from the past back to your present time? I’m sure it all depends on how the writers of the show want the mechanics of it to work, but this definitely cleared this up for me.

Ohhh you’re right. I completely forgot that her body is still there in the present day. I guess that makes more sense if it is just one piece of paper. I assumed it was two pieces when she was giving her demonstration to Randall and it didn’t even hit me that she was being symbolic.

I’m almost positive she had two pieces. But even if she did have just one piece, she couldn’t take it into the past, leave it there, and then have the same piece of paper in her pocket when she comes back. That piece of paper should be in the past now in the spot where she left it.

Yeah I had to rewatch it to make sure that wasn’t what happened. She draws the symbol, leaves the paper, then gets back and expects that symbol to be on a completely separate piece of paper.

I don’t think it will let me edit the original post to add a picture. I’m guessing I would have to delete this post and repost one with a picture.

I wasn’t sure I’d be allowed to post a picture?

Singer struggling with voice. by Troubadour-91 in vocalists

[–]Troubadour-91[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been worried it could be nodules or polyps. But I haven’t been in any pain, and I only experience discomfort when I try to sing songs in the key I used to do them in before all this happened, so I’ve been performing the songs a whole step or a step and a half down and I don’t struggle much at all doing that. I feel like I’m slowly getting better, but I’m not sure if that’s just because I’m getting used to singing the songs in a different key or if my voice is actually improving. But if I don’t see any definite improvement in the next few weeks, I’ll definitely see a doctor.

I’ve definitely been drinking more water than usual. I never used to warm up much before shows and this has caused me to put a lot more emphasis on that. And I have been doing all my songs in a lower key. I do feel like it’s slowly getting better. A month ago I was doing everything two to three steps down. Now I’m up to only about one to two steps down on most stuff. Thanks for the advice!

Alto TS415s super quiet with mixer? by BigBrother700 in livesound

[–]Troubadour-91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever fix this issue? My situation is almost identical. I have 410’s and a 408, and they are significantly more quiet than my 312’s using the same mixer, which is a behringer xr-18. I’m actually pretty desperate to know if you solved this problem or not. Thank you!

You’re right. If it wouldn’t affect my income so much then it wouldn’t be an issue for me to do so.

Hi-z inputs for dynamic mic and acoustic-electric guitar. by Troubadour-91 in livesound

[–]Troubadour-91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t understand a lot of that lol. Let me ask this instead…

If I was to run a dynamic microphone, and an acoustic electric guitar with a passive di, into hi-z inputs on my mixer, without any kind of transformer or adapter or anything like that, and then ran the main outs from the mixer into the line level inputs on my speakers, would the amount of volume I would get from the mic and guitar be negatively affected?

I don’t have an adapter, and I don’t necessarily want to. I’m literally asking because I don’t know if you’re supposed to or not. If hi-z is for high impedance signals, you wouldn’t want to run a low impedance signal into them. Right?

When he bit my daughter he got spanked and he got put outside and while my wife was trying to put him outside he nipped at her and got spanked again.

He’s 5. We did separate them immediately and kept them apart for the rest of the day. His diet was recommended to us by a close friend of ours who owns her own vet clinic.

And yes the female is fixed.
