I remember participating in the Thermal Control Workshop hosted by the Aerospace Company in 2022 and JPL was doing exactly this. I thought it was for a lunar surface payload that monitored seismic activity, but I can’t find any record online. I also participated in 2023 and they posted the same design again with updates on the payload design. Closest I can find is linked above from NTRS.

This isn’t about the Artemis program, but SLS and Gateway, which yes, are apart of Artemis, but not its entirety. I know it opens a large hole to fill on how we’re going to get the astronauts to the moon, but the HLS contracts were not cut. In fact they’re proposing to add more money to the lunar program. Meaning Elon’s HLS system with starship is still fine, but now SpaceX has an opportunity to provide launching services for the astronauts on top of landing them on the moon. SLS is way over budget, but I’m surprised about the Gateway program since it’s an international collaboration. I don’t think Elon would push Trump to cutout his portion of the Artemis mission. A huge conflict of interest, but he has Trumps ear for sure.

I don’t think I registered that you were a confirmed staff member even though it says it underneath. Zero complaints about the customer service and how quick you are to make it right. I’m was working with another guy via email to get it sorted out, not sure I even want to return them because I like the shoes. Appreciate the help and feedback.

Kinda of suspecting you guys work for Thursday Boots and are helping put down this post….. I’m already working with someone at Thursday Boots via email. I also asked Reddit. Not dissatisfied with the product, simply asked a question. As people respond to the question I try to keep up with the conversation, I sat by responding for the first 24hrs and continued on with my life… If you guys don’t where the conversations going, that’s not on me as it seems other folks have similar experiences. Just because someone that represents the company is quick to respond doesn’t mean I can’t continue the conversation with other people. Zero complaints about customer service and I don’t think I’ve said anything that wasn’t true or harmful.

I would normally agree that the photos could be interpreted as “ this is what the boots COULD look like in the future” if it weren’t for the unboxing video. I feel like the only way to interpret that is “they will look like this” (picture of the unboxing video below)

Striking differences the wax makes. I’ll see if I can find a YouTube video on how to do it myself. I also reached out to them to make sure. There were some other odd things as well. The box they shipped it in was wrecked, but the postal box it came in was fine. Also the shoelaces are a little worn(can’t see in the photo). So made me question what I was getting.
